I love how moody the new art style looks. Instead of a punchline, I was half-expecting the wheelchair guy to go into a monologue about his accident at the end.

it's reborn.

He decided to move the main cast of the old comic into their own side story. Now Ethan and Lucas are video game themed superheroes(Ethan is now Batman with the power to "respawn" and Lucas is now Green Lantern, but only with giant D-pad arrows.) Scott is basically their mission control, and Lila is a minor reporter character.
