What would your pitch for Goofy Movie 3 be?
Max is now straight up an adult, moved out, dating a girl, has a job, and Goofy is trying to still be hugely involved in his son's life. Max doesn't directly challenge this problem, and is passive aggressive until he explodes.
Y'know, like the other two films. Just update it to modern times and keep Max aging in real time. Despite it being the same film but again, there are new issues to tackle giving it a fresh coat of paint.
Why is 'Leaning tower of Cheeza!' guy even on the cover? He wasn't important or a close friend to Max.
Goofy is diagnosed with cancer and Max spends one last summer with him before he dies.

This. The formula got it probably one of the better direct to video sequels.

Heck, Bobby isn't even in the credits in the first film. I guess they just knew kids would like the cool ass stoner AV kid that wanted to be paid in cheese.

You joke but I'd love to see this just as an experimental thing

The movie ends with a "Gawrsh Max! I ain't dyin' at all! I just read the wrong chart!"

Have Max getting married and Goofy having to make peace with his son moving on in life and that despite not always being together they'll always be family. Also have Mickey and Donald show up
