Well, I know it's been really incosistently depicted for the last half century in ways that are probably casually racist in a way that only a white writer who's never actually been to africa, studied africa or indeed ever had a black friend and yet is writing Black Panther or is tasked with doing the token Black Panther episode for a Marvel Cartoon.

It's 2015, and I'm watching the Wakandan high guard attack the avengers in grass skirts and throwing spears (that explode) at them in EMH. This is considered a secretive technological powerhouse by african standards apparently.

I'm not going to watch Black Panther, not because it's about Black Panther, but because I'm burnt out on hero films.
