What one design element in cartoons do you dislike the most? Doesn't have to be from modern designs.
>Bean head
>Noodle limbs

>Things I dislike
Thick lines, like PPG (original)
Special backgrounds (eg: the background is just plain red to indicate they're angry, even if they're at a lake)
Sterile backgrounds (like the ones in Fairly Odd Parents, I can't think of a better word to describe them)
Line-art which is always slightly darker than the fill-colour (I don't mind if it's generally black/mono-colour with certain exceptions, for example the bananas in adventure time are yellow to emphasize their texture)
Ahegao crap like Kakegurui
No eye-whites
>Things I like (some contradic" each other a little)
Thin lines (Tintin, Snow white), especially thin black lines.
Flat colours with use of cel-shading if neccessary
Drop shadows for characters, props and background objects
Gradients
Than immovable plaid aesthetic
Interesting backgrounds, backgrounds with lots of detail (like a where's wally)

When the storyboards or concept material looks better than the finished product.

Do you draw?
>show says it goes off model for comedic effect and to highlight different storyboarder styles
>characters go dramatically off model from one shot to another, heigh charts don't exist, and it's blatantly clear that its just an excuse for the boarders to not have to pay attention to what they draw
>and when they go off model for jokes its just not funny because the jokes themselves aren't good because there isn't a script because the whole thing is board driven
