Gay men obviously written by women who have no idea how homosexual dudes really act, especially the kind that act like utter stereotypes. Do you know what someone who defines themself by their sexuality is? Boring, and/or a total douche. My coworker dated a guy who acted like that, and surprise surprise, the guy was an attention whore who cheated on him and was out clubbing two weeks post-breakup in a Robin outfit complete with tinfoil domino mask. Compare that to my coworker, who is a top-notch gardener with excellent taste in hip-hop, who had gotten pissed enough at said douchebag to use some rather homophobic language.

Anyways, most LGBT people tend to get written this way, and even if the original concept was good, the execution gets butchered. Take Zack Morrison's Paranatural, for example. Remember how Zarei was originally the snarky, inflappable character? Yet surprise surprise, she ends up as a blushing bint when he wants to put a little gay romance into his comic. Compare that to Gunnerkrigg Court, where Tom actually kept Kat's characterization the same, because unlike Zack the Hack, he knows that someone's orientation is simply a facet of their personality, not half their goddamn being. Although to be fair, I probably shouldn't be complaining about an author who can't even do pacing right. It's hilariously ironic that even though Morrison wants to write his comic like a Shonen, Siddell actually does his story more like a mangaka would, without even trying.

But yeah, long story short, the kind of gay person women fetishize is the kind of homosexual that other homosexuals will call a faggot.
