see the problem is that little girls just really don't want to play with legos. Gender roles just kind of happen with society. Until everyone is a Xir or Xim, boys like smashing cars and robots and girls happen to like frilly things and pink stuff and elves. Wow, you just made it clear you don't actually follow Lego and just took that "just put a female hair piece in a set" line from that inaccurate comic.

Lego DOES and HAS done that for a while. The underwater explorers sets, the Fire and Police sets, the space sets, the Dinosaur sets, etc all include female minifigures alongside the male ones. The problem is, some girls just don't care. There are girls who buy and enjoy police chase sets, but then there are ones who want sets with Malls and dog parks.

That's why they made Friends, Elves, Disney Princesses etc. And they sell phenomenally. Now Lego gets called sexist for making sets that can appeal to all types of girls, which makes no sense. People like you just take a glance and assume it's sexist because it's pink. The Friends theme has some sets revolving around gyms, karate, science and robotic labs. If anything, you should be eating this shit up because it's empowering.

Then there's the super hero line which has included countless sets and vehicles for Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Batgirl, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, She Hulk, etc. and even the in hourse themes like Ninjago and Nexo Knights put Nya and Macy on the front line and get just as much attention as the male characters.
