Silver Surfer. I would spend the entire first arc undoing the shit Slott did, mainly his treatment of Shalla-Bal.

Zatanna. I keep her mostly the same but give her some limitations on her magic, so that 90% of the time, she wouldn't just be capable of doing practically anything at any given moment.

Same. I'd at least rewrite her back so that she didn't get chemical burned to look like the Joker. Everything else is relatively within the scope of her character, though I've not read her ongoing.

Squirrel Girl is in high school again. She's not very good at being a superhero and nobody takes her seriously because she's a boring-looking loser and she's got a goofy-ass gimmick. Hence, her goal in life is to become the single greatest hero in the Marvel universe. Hard work pays off and all that jazz.

I just wish Raven would get something like a high fantasy adventure mixed with urban myths type of series, have her interact with Amethyst and bring back Trigon as an inter-dimensional conqueror.
DC's magic side has so much potential for fun adventures, Im surprised no one has tapped into it.

The Joker.

He's no longer insane. This makes him more of a threat since he's not just doing the first thing that comes to mind anymore. He works hard to disguise his crimes as circus acts and magic tricks, to the point where the majority of his crimes aren't even noticed until after he's gone. Using clown makeup and wigs, his appearance is always different, and no one has seen what he really looks like under the disguises. He travels with a large circus, and just blends in with the other clowns.

He isn't Batman's worst enemy due to some odd obsession, but because Batman can't nab him. Batman can't figure out exactly who he is, since he hides himself too well. He doesn't have luck catching him in the act either, since most victims don't know a crime happened until after Joker's long gone. Batman half suspects the Joker is just a rumor, but the similarities of the crimes that do get blamed on the Joker lead him to keep hunting.

Joker isn't a maddog killer, or smiling slasher, but merely a man who kills out of convenience. A cold blooded criminal in absolute control of himself at all times. All hiding behind a smiling clown face.

Deadpool, or more specifically Madcap

Madcap is no longer a separate character. Madcap is deadpool's cancer. Which is why he can regenerate so viciously and why he just keeps coming back. Also make it part of the story that it's deadpool learning to deal with the worst parts of himself and accepting it; instantiating madcap back into himself and restoring the tripartite deadpool from the 2008 run.
