Or he has thought of it and dismissed it, possibly because he raised to think it's malarky. I can't see either of his parents approving of therapy. Butterscotch would probably say it's for sissy commies. And considering what psychology did to Beatrice's mother I can imagine her putting all kinds of ideas in young BoJack's head to associate the entire scientific branch with pure evil.
