First look at David Harbour as Hellboy. Looks fucking awesome
>>
>>95313182
The hand looks a bit worse. Kinda like a metal prop.
>>
>>95313182
Wow, that looks really good. It looks exactly like Perlman, though that's to be expected since that was a perfect visual adaptation.
>>
what have you done to me /co/
>>
is it gonna be practical makeup or motion capture?
>>
>>95313182
Kinda ambivalent about longer hair, but otherwise it looks good.
>>
>>95313353
HB usually has long hair, it's just done up in top knot most of the time.
>>
>>95313324
It's all makeup and prosthetics.
>>
>>95313310
Not really sure what the point of this post was.
>>
>>95313182
I like the horns.

Not so sure about the scars...isin't he supposed to fast healing without leaving marks?

Can't say from the angle, but the gun looks a lil small

Rock hand is too shiny, it doesn't look aged enough

That aside, I like this look. 9/10 Perlman approves . Fix the hair and it's a solid 10/10
>>
The samaritan looks a LOT smaller, the preivous one was better

Really curious how abe is gonna turn out
>>
>>95313265
>It looks exactly like Perlman
My thoughts exactly
>>
>>95313182
Looks like Hellboy is juicin'
>>
Looks so much like Perlman that it seems weird it won't be a continuation. IS that prothetics or is David Harbour ripped as fuck under his clothes? He usually looks kinda schlubby.
>>
>>95313265
>It looks exactly like Perlman
You can't improve upon perfection and they were smart not to try.
>>
>>95316389
Yeah, the new gun sucks
>>
>>95313182
If I didn't already know this was David Harbour beforehand, I'd literally think this was just Ron Pearlman.

Though I'm not sure what they were thinking making his hand glossy looking.
>>
here's another pic of David as Hellboy
>>
>>95316909

Should have just went with a mechanical head
>>
>>95313182
>No Guillermo Del Toro
>No Ron Pearlman
>another pointless reboot of a franchise

Skipping this.
>>
>>95316909
that looks less good, his eyes are lost
>>
>>95316909
Jesus, the two look completely different.

This one just looks terrible. Like some mongoloid attempt at cosplay.
>>
>>95316909
Gross
>>
>>95316909
they fucked up. He looks like he has a little t-rex arm because the Hand prop starts halfway down his forearm instead of at the elbow.
>>
>>95316106
>Not so sure about the scars...isin't he supposed to fast healing without leaving marks?
Was thinking the same.
>>
>>95316948
>>No Guillermo Del Toro
So maybe it'll actually be like Hellboy?
>>
>>95317231
I've read the comics and liked them, but I was a big fan of del Toro's adaptation of Hellboy.
>>
>>95317093

OP pic looks alright, but that b&w image looks like a thing you might find in a Face-off elimination round.
>>
>>95313182
>>95316909
Where's the fucking top knot?

Also like the other anon said, there's something off about the proportions. See, now they have to get another prosthetic arm for his left to even it out.
>>
First impression..

It looks awesome.

But then..

Perlman was pretty much made for the role.

And translated well on screen.

Had the voice for it.

...and was well written.
..
..
Dont know how it will play out.
>>
>>95313182
Shit, it looks great. Quick, I need something to complain about!
The eyes aren't yellow enough
>>
>>95313182

>>

Isn't Perlman almost 70? Just too old by now, unfortunately.

Its all prosthetics, makeup and cgi.

Maybe they could have made it work.

I guess you weren't around a couple of weeks ago for the whole whitewashing controversy for one of the castings of this movie.
>>

>>
>>95313182

Still, could be worse.

No way Harbour got that ripped that quickly, I mean, even with the help of roids.
>>
>>95320548
The movies were action-comedy shit that had little to do with the excellent source material that gave it life. So fuck off. You want quips, ineffectual villains, and shitty romances go watch a Marvel movie
>>
>>95320682
You're either stupid or a casual. You think the Hellboy comics have no quips or dumb villains? Fuck off.
>>
>>95320682
They were still great movies regardless. No one bitches about how Frankenstein is completely different from the source material but we all praise the classic film. Fuck your idealistic Hellboy movie. It will never happen and the new movie is going to be hot garbage.
>>
>>95320682
Hellboy is known to quip
>>
>>95320592
>That's gotta be prostethics, right?

Of course. Pearlman's iteration was the same thing. They just went and made Harbour's look way more buff.
>>
>>95320682
>shitty romances

I really do like how little romance there is in the Mignolaverse
>>
>>95320548
That movie was garbage and the visuals aged like milk. It was good for the '00's when everything used bad excess of CG, but the CG in that first movie was absolute trash then and even worse now. And worse they used it for too much of the movie.

What world are all these del toro fanboys coming from. What movie did they watch that I didn't.
>>
>>95316909
Wrong, this is clearly the Undertaker cosplaying as Hellboy. He has foregone using a gun and will now fight nazi gorilla robots with the tombstone piledriver.

>Adapting "Blood Queen" story line
>Directed by Neil "The Decent, " Dog Soldiers"fucking Marshall
>closer in tone to the comics

Yeah fuck your shit
>>
>>95321020
It's a nostalgia thing. Unfortunately, the movies have a cult following far outstripping the comics, with Del Toro and Pearlman being something like cultural staples for the new "nerd" crowd. They're pretty easily digestible media too, action, comedy, cool visuals, tasteful bit of horror, obligatory love story.

It does pain me to see all the people preemptively shitting on this movie with a "not muh"
>>
>>95321146
That's an awfully strong reaction against someone not liking a crappy turn of the century movie
>>
>>95321155
Harbour posted it on his twitter
>>
Is it just me or are they trying to make Hellboy sexier? I'm usually about this kinda shit but... HB is not for Sexy.

>>95316948
>Chris Golden on the screenplay instead of Guillermo Del Toro elf fanfiction
I mean the man creates beautiful movies, I love his work, but the story of HB2 was absolute garbage.
Golden meanwhile wrote some of my favorite HB novels.
>>
>>95321345
his draft's already being rewritten
>>
>>95321115
>spotty
>that terrible CG blood used for no reason when fake blood could have poured just as easily.
>the monsters all look like the unfinished half rendered versions you get in special features or 80's CGI effects
>that terrible plot
>that painfully bad and slow and completely unneeded rooftop scene and the romance it was supposed to support.

Yeah post more shots from the trailer and tell me how artist the shooting was, I'll ignore that overall the character dialogue was poorly written with a few good quips now and then reminding you of how bad the rest of the dialogue was. I'll ignore the shoddy plot and badly rendered tentacles because of how cool you thought the clockwork nazi was. I'll ignore the ugly choice of red for Hellboy's makeup because they got Abe's makeup perfectly.

It can't even hold up its own plot near the end and just gets really silly.

>>95321198
I was talking about the CG in the first one. Or are we forgiving it because of the second one? The first left a bad enough taste when I rewatched it I didn't feel like looking into the second again, but given how people talk about the first I don't think I trust most of you to tell me the second one also "holds up".
>>
>>95321345
The movie seems to have everything it needs to be really good. I'm still pretty concerned with their choices concerning Alice, not the race thing but the direction they're taking the character
>>
>>95321423
>Abe's makeup perfectly
The greatest crime of those movies, besides the awful love plot, was turning Abe into an effeminate sissy fish
>>
>>95321415
Goddammit that was kinda my major hope going into this.
>>95321450
Things are going to have to jumble a fair bit to cram the Blood Queen story line into a workable movie format- what direction are they taking her in? I haven't been too up on the pre-movie info, I'm trying to not get my hopes up.
>>
>>95321499
It was weird, it was like a lot of work went into a character who was completely different from the comics and was just a side character in the movie.

Given del toro's latest movie I wonder if he just has a thing for fish men.
>>
>>95313182
Why the fuck is Jack Black Hellboy?
>>
>>95321423

well he said the other day that his dream since a child was to film a sex scene between a fish monster and a person so there you go
>>
Looks pretty cool, but the eyes get lost.

>>95316909
This one looks a little less good. Looks a little too monstrous.
>>
>>95321423
I think the Del Toro movies are fine. Maybe not great, but at the least they got me and a good deal of people into the comics. Putting this much effort to shit on them is kind of pointless anyway, you don't have to like them but don't be a bitch about it
>>
>>95320105
Nope. It's that guy from Stranger Things.
>>
>>95321629
lol I didn't say a thing about how well "shot" the movie was. Too bad looking pretty doesn't hold up painful plot and dialogue, and that overused and cheap looking CGI ruins any shot no matter how well done it was.

>>
>>95321695
I wouldn't put this much effort but you have these absolute morons going around saying "no del toro? No perlman? It's gonna be shit." That's what I was responding to before.

Like, come the fuck on. They weren't as bad as most other superhero movies from that decade, but the best you can say is they were "ok but didn't age well". But to actually be a fanboy to them, over the comics, as if they were this amazing thing in and of themselves?

That's all I care about in this. If you want to like the movie, that's great. I'm excited for something new with actual people who made the comics in on the process more and an actor who I've seen in a show in the same genre play the same type of character perfectly. Telling me that it's gonna be shit because of some weird fetish for the previous movies is what pisses me off.
>>
>>95321584
From what I understand, she's going to be on the actual team and have different "powers", if you can really even describe her comic incarnation as having "powers" in the traditional sense. It sounds like she's a weird mix of Kate and Alice proper

I'm not opposed to Hellboy and Daimio being on the team at the same time, since I'm just happy to have the latter at all. But throwing Alice in there is weird

This Hellboy reboot kerfluffle is reminding me of the Stargate movie reboot. In both cases, the original creator takes back the property they made, after another creator made it popular, but made it popular with a different continuity or intepretation.

>>95322031
That's because everytime Del Toro was going to do something dumb Mignola would draw him a sketch if he promised not to do it.

>>
>>95313265
>It looks exactly like Perlman
So why not just get Ron?
>>
>>95322145
and then he'd have to go do at least a minor level of stunt work
>>
>>95322051
I'm not, but mostly for fear of that horrible romance. Comic Liz is great.
Alice... well, Alice in the comics kinda worked, fuck only knows how it'll do in this movie.
>>
>>95322163
Hellboy and Alice had the most hilariously subdued romance of anything i've ever read. Mignola is not a romance writer so he doesn't really focus on it.
>>
>>95313182

I don't know if I like it. It doesn't look BAD hair aside but Pearlman's looked more expressive. Granted he is mugging for the camera here
>>
>>95322059
More people in the casual public heard of the Hellboy comic, due to the Hellboy movies. This is an unavoidable fact--I'm not talking about quality; this is just about the audience. I remember seeing the Hellboy movie trailers on television when I was younger, and seeing the billboards for it. Hellboy the movie got tons of exposure to people who didn't even know about comics beside Marvel and DC.

(Same for Stargate SG-1, which many people watched, even if they didn't know it was based on a movie.)
>>
>>95322149
Because Ron is too fucking old for all that makeup and all those prosthetics
>>
>>95322224
That's not how make up works.
>>
>>95322243
pretty sure he meant too old to do the action stuff, not that he'd look too old
>>
>>95322243

yes it is you fuckwit. Male up is heavy and hot and you have to be in it for like a fuck load of hours. It's easy to pass out from heat exhaustion.
>>
>>95322190
I am 500% okay with that, it made it seem kinda sweet.
>>
>>95322220
Maybe. My guilty pleasure is the ghost rider movie with nicholas cage. I never cared for the comics though.

I saw the hellboy movies but they didn't stick with me. The premise did as did a couple of characters, but nothing about the movies really stuck with me or made me want to look for more, or even rewatch them.

I was introduced to the comics years later. I don't get why people like the movies but I've liked worse.
>>
>>95322218
Honestly it will come down to actual acting and movie producing ability. You can nitpick the look but if he plays a good hellboy he plays a good hellboy and we won't know until it happens. Ron had the look nailed but I seriously doubt they're going to disregard his attempt to reproduce an incredibly difficult character to get live action and just fuck everything up.

I can understand Ghost Rider, because he doesn't have a ton of good stories to his name. Not only that, but most capeshit has been interpreted so differently across many authors having another interpretation doesn't really mean much

When it's been consistent and consistently good like Hellboy, it's on a different level. With properties like Spider-Man, X-Men, or even Daredevil you can point to different places an adaption pulled from. With Hellboy, or any other consistent property like a manga, if they don't do a 1:1 adaption they're just making shit up. Shit that's usually worse than the source material. If unfaithful adaptions had a good track record I'd be more positive, but by and large it turns out poorly. The Hobbit in particular comes to mind

I won't give you grief for liking it, but that scene really illustrates all the the things I disliked the most about those movies. It's just so clumsy and cartoony. Overdone and cliche tropes happening there, it hurts to see this.
>>
>>95322275
The comic' characters made it work. Hellboy feels like a regular dude, who just happens to have horns, and the "secret government group" felt like an actual agency. Plus small hints of weirdness that never overly took over the narrative, made it still accessible.

And the good actors.

(As I have a fondness for pyrokinesis, and had a crush on Liz, I had even more reason to like the movie.)

Also, Hellboy is a good fantasy movie, and those are harder to do than it seems. It was humorous, but still had a grounding in seriousness. And great villain design, a sweet romance at the center...I'm not talking about "compared to the comic"; I'm talking about as a movie on its own.

>>
>>95322449
>it's a beautiful sequence
If you're going to say things like this I'm going to have to shit on it.

The "tossing the baby" bit at the start was a 90's kids movie kind of gag. It's literally cartoon gag, made worse by the dated CGI.

The way he hesitated and Krauss kept yelling was just bad writing and pacing, again something you'd expect from low budget kids show writing, not fitting for hellboy. That whole transition from taking a bunch of shots and then hesitating so the elf can give his speech was just badly paced and poorly written.

The speech itself didn't fit there. They actually had him come over to stand near the precarious place Hellboy was standing to give him that whole spiel, spelled out simply and clearly, as subtle as that big spray painted nerf gun they gave Hellboy.

All of that tied to overdone makeup on everyone, making them look more fitting to a power rangers episode or at best the early live action ninja turtles.

No, sorry, I didn't like it. It was not beautiful, it was ugly as all fuck. I'll give props to the giant plant god monster for being well designed and not as jarring to look at as the actors in makeup or the CG flying baby.

Am I taking crazy pills or something. That scene was terrible. It highlights a lot of the worst aspects of the movies. It looked and felt like a kids movie scene in everything from the visual to the writing quality, but this is not a kids movie and can't be forgiven for that.

Just. Are you nostalgic for it? That's fine. Whatever. But seriously the nicest thing I can say about that scene is that it hasn't aged well.
>>
>>95322690
Man, you're a real cunt
>>
>>95322690
>>95322735
meh, I don't really have all night for this sort of thing.

it's a well shot and edit sequence that pushes across the main themes of the film, complimented by Danny Elfman's score. Del Toro really likes to emphasize weird monsters as beautiful creatures and this sequence is a perfect example of that.

usually death sequences of monsters are pretty gruesome, you can just look at the many deaths of Sardu for that in Hellboy 1, but here we get the opposite, the Elemental's death is gorgeous. It gets across a real sense of awe in how amazing these creatures are and that also hits with a dose of melancholy because now they're gone forever. Del Toro is earnest as fuck about this stuff and that's why it's so engaging, this kind of scene you're not gonna see in a made by committee film, it requires genuine passion for the subject matter.

you can pontificate all day about why you don't like it, but it really shouldn't be hard to see why other people do. just on technical work alone there's some lovely camera movement and compositions.

They do in one-off issues or as single panel one-liners but the tone of the comic has always been cosmic horror you tard.

The entire tone of the second movie is overly comedic. They even reduce Johann fucking Krauss, probably the most depressing character in the entire comic, into a Seth Macfarlane voiced slapstick funny man
>>
>>95322936
I don't think Kraus' arc from the comic would really have fit the tone established in the first film, plus his arc took years to play out. they didn't necessarily have to change him the way they did but he would've had to been changed in some respects to fit him in.
>>
>>95322850
It's a well shot sequence of poorly done visuals that ruin any effect the cameraman and director could hope to achieve.

You're right it does push the main theme of the movie. All at once. Repeating itself to make sure no one in the audience could possibly not have gotten the hint, bluntly hitting each person over the head with the main theme of the film so no one will misunderstand what it was, not even small children in the front row for this PG-13 movie.

No. This is not how you write a script, this is not how you do a scene, this is not how you put meaning or a theme or anything into your story. It's cheesy by the standards of movies 15 years older than it is.

>In 1994, Mike Mignola released the first Hellboy series, Seed of Destruction and introduced the world to the Right Hand of Doom, the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, and one of the most iconic comic book characters—and universes—of all time. For more than 20 years, Mignola and a host of celebrated writers and artists have chronicled the adventures of Hellboy facing his supposed destiny as Beast of the Apocalypse, and explored the mysterious backstories of B.P.R.D. agents including Professor Trevor Bruttenholm and Abe Sapien. Now, for the first time ever, Dark Horse Books will publish Mike Mignola’s award-winning Hellboy stories in chronological order with the Hellboy Omnibus Collection, creating the definitive reading experience for Hellboy fans and an ideal entry point for new readers.
>>
>>95323321
>This major publishing initiative consists of four Hellboy Omnibus volumes, featuring every Hellboy story written and illustrated by Mignola and The Wild Hunt storyline written by Mignola and illustrated by Duncan Fegredo, which is the basis for the forthcoming Hellboy film directed by Neil Marshall. In addition, Dark Horse will publish two volumes of Hellboy: The Complete Short Stories featuring stories illustrated by artists including Richard Corben, Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon. Each of the six trade paperback books will feature new covers by Mignola and Eisner award-winning colorist Dave Stewart.

About the Hellboy Omnibus Collection:

Hellboy Omnibus Volume 1: Seed of Destruction
Available in comic stores on May 23rd and in bookstores on June 5, 2018.

The story jumps from Hellboy's mysterious World War II origin to his 1994 confrontation with the man who summoned him to earth, and the earliest signs of the plague of frogs. Avoiding his supposed fate as the herald of the end of the world, Hellboy continues with the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense, fighting alongside Abe Sapien, Liz Sherman, and drafting Roger Homunculus into his own ill-fated service with the B.P.R.D. This 368-page volume covers Hellboy’s adventures from 1994 to 1997, reprinting Seed of Destruction, Wake the Devil, and “Wolves of St August,” “The Chained Coffin,” and “Almost Colossus,” from The Chained Coffin and The Right Hand of Doom.

>Hellboy: The Complete Short Stories Vol. 1
Available Summer 2018.

The ultimate introduction to this supernatural hero features 16 standalone stories with Mignola’s greatest collaborators—stories that can be read in any order.

In 1994, Mike Mignola released the first Hellboy series, Seed of Destruction, as Hellboy faced his supposed destiny as Beast of the Apocalypse. Before that, he’d spent fifty years fighting monsters as a somewhat carefree member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense. The Complete Short StoriesVolumes 1 & 2 present those early adventures. “The Crooked Man” and “Double Feature of Evil," both of which earned Mignola and his legendary collaborator Richard Corben Eisner Awards, are collected with the complete “Hellboy in Mexico" saga, featuring collaborations with Corben, Mick McMahon, Gabriel Ba, and Fabio Moon, as well as one of Mignola’s early masterpiece, “The Corpse.” This 368-page volume covers Hellboy’s adventures from 1947 to 1961, reprinting stories from The Chained Coffin, The Right Hand of Doom, The Bride of Hell, The Crooked Man, The Troll Witch, and Hellboy's childhood adventure, The Midnight Circus, drawn by Duncan Fegredo.

Hellboy Omnibus Volume 2: Strange Places
Available Summer 2018.

Hellboy loses faith in the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense when they strap a bomb to one of his fellow not-quite-human agents. He gets answers about his destiny, like it or not, in over 300 pages of comics mostly drawn by Mignola, featuring award-winning guests Gary Gianni and Richard Corben. This 416-page volume covers Hellboy’s adventures from 1998 to 2005, reprinting Conqueror Worm, Strange Places, Into the Silent Sea, and “The Right Hand of Doom," “Box Full of Evil,” and “Being Human” from The Right Hand of Doom and B.P.R.D. Hellboy saved her from faeries as a baby, they reunited 50 years later, Alice became ageless due to faerie magic, and she helped pull Hellboy out of drunken depression and they become a couple. After dealing with Morgan Le Faye together and some adventures Hellboy dies saving the world, and all of England ascends to a different plane of existence while Hellboy goes to Hell.

Alice becomes the new Queen Man (folklore figure) and basically loses her human identity. She's permanently tied to England while Hellboy, save this brief moment, is permanently stuck in Hell. This is the last time they see each other.

Anon, get over it. He's old and tired. He probably doesn't WANT to do it. Unlike Gibson who's been trying to get back into movies (successfully) for years.
There's nothing wrong with a recast especially since this'll be separate from the other movies anyway.
>>
>>95324092

Not knowing which movie you're talking about I'm just going to assume that it didn't have the kind of thrown-through-the-air brawl fights that Hellboy would have, but rather gunfights and "easy" fight-scenes, none of which would be done wearing heavy prosthetic.

And then there's the fact that at those ages six years mean a lot, and that Gibson is clearly taking some form of steroids to at least make up for the loss in hormones produced by the body as it ages, which Perlman is not.

It was stated in the comics; after the battle of Camlan all of Mordred's sons were murdered by Arthur's followers, but a girl survived (because she wasn't a threat to the kingdom) and lived on. HB's mother was the last decendant of that witch, and since the British monarchy doesn't have a thing to do with King Arthur (since they're French), Hellboy is the rightful heir.
Sounds a bit hamfisted, but it IS justified in the comic.

It could be a good juxtaposition between his looks and his character, to really make you register that you're looking at a demon who's acting friendly, and not just your typical colourful alien that you see in other comicbook movies. He'll look gruff and dangerous which puts off the new guys, but everyone who's been around even a little while knows that he just can't help his looks, beyond sanding the horns down.

I wonder if he'll have hooves and if they'll show it, or just go full Liefeld.
I hope they do that, that would be great. A frightening character, up until the moment he says "Hey, how you doin'?". I just hope they don't make it too cliché. I wonder how Daimio will fit into the whole thing, and I would love to see the were-panther design.
I can't really imagine Alice, though. I mean if they go full old-guard Mab, and go with the black and blue gown, sure, but I can't see how the angelic light-colored clothing of Queen Alice could work on a black chick.
I'm not too stoked about the casting for The Blood Queen, either. I mean, shitty actress, doesn't have the sex-appeal or charisma to pull of a character that seduces and threatens at the same time as well.
The director is a great choice for introducing witches though. Imagine Descent style witches, basically, the dark room, with barely any light, huddled together and plotting. Maybe even the scene where they let out TBQ.
I hope they don't go full horror-style quick editting with the action scenes, though. It might be a bit too much.
I'm quite curious about the movie, but there are so many things that can easily go wrong. I don't care about FAITHFUL adaptation, as long as they do it well. If they use Daimio well, fuck yeah, good on ya, I don't care that he and Red never met.

Del Toro loves lovecraftian shit beyond all else. He's just sad that his Mountains of Madness movie never got made so he just goes as far as he can elsewhere.

I just wish that hellboy 2 got more of the cthulhu side of things instead of muh ancient army.

I'm hyped and nitpicking autists need to leave right fucking now.

I mean Milla Jovovic is by no means a good actress, but no sex-appeal? Dang son. To each his own I guess, but she is prime sexy scary milf material right now.

>mila is prime sexy scary milf

Shes gross. I cant find anything attractive about her.

The hand being shiny/glossy is a bit off desu, but other than that it's fucking perfect. I'm also really happy that they're using practical makeup and not motion capture

Ron is too good for this sinful world

Yeah, Mignola evolved into something else through hellboy, his watercolor stuff for the finale is gorgeous.
>>
>>95313182
But what does his voice sound like? Ron Perlman's voice was absolutely fucking perfect.
>>
>>95328354
He's doing that Fishman movie with Del Toro, in which he's playing almost exactly the same character GDT rewrote Abe into for the movies. I like Doug Jones, but that Abe was all kinds of wrong

After seeing what he did with Hellboy, I wouldn't trust him with Mountains. He has a certain style and flavor that's unique, but it wouldn't fit well with Lovecraft
>>
>>95334997

I thought the he totally excelled on thr HB films..

I have no idea where.. the shape of water.. will fit into the series.
>>
>>95335160
He excelled in making a movie of his own vision, but it's not at all like the comics, as this thread has discussed a few times. I say I wouldn't trust him with Mountains of Madness because he couldn't stick to the relatively simple Mignola comics. Lovecraft is even harder to adapt. I don't need a hamfisted love story or a metro fishman in my horror

I can relate but I've only got the first one so I guess I'll leave it with the on top of the shelf so it'll look good, kinda frustrated though because I don't know if it's better to get the omnibuses or the left library editions from now on

They're paperback so I'm hoping they're closer to the usagi saga trades which are really good

Baba Yaga not quite confirmed. Not sure who I'd like to see on screen more.
