This pisses me off. Ultimate was one of their best titles. Meanwhile, America is selling under 10,000 and hasn't been canned, yet. It's almost as if Marvel is trying to pump out garbage to its readers.

Another year of publications & a full-scale event. :(
Various nitty gritty details too. Some pure wishful thinking like Tiamat & Eternity's various kids, some hinted at by Al himself like Adam Warlock & the Vell family & a multiversal composite Death. Even if we're just talking substantial content, I expected fucking follow-up on Thanos & his new waifu.

Since starting this thread I've read the finale and I'll give you that; it was beautifully done. But that's partly because of how very tragic it was that it was being rushed out in a monthly instead of given room to breath & a worthy podium. Some of the quotes in there are SO fucking bittersweet given the existing context.

It's Kieron Gillen's final issue of Journey Into Mystery all over again, except that one DID get events & crossovers & all the hype it earned before kicking you in the balls with the metanarrative. And Ewing wasn't even snarky about it! He executed his orders with a smile on his face & a message of hope! He deserves better.

Everything that isn't movie or legacy pandering died. USAvengers is also kill in December.
