Yeah idk it's just not an interesting seeming character. I wish they would focus less on boxman and more on Professor Venomous and his crew. He is a much more interesting character than any of the "boxman family". imo.
But to be fair this show doesn't seem to be shooting for interesting characters. I'm not really sure what it's trying to be. Which is a shame cause it's set in such an interesting world but then they ignore that and every episode turns into a slice of life.

It's a slightly more interesting We Bare Bears with a reskin. Boring slice of life structure, jokes that nobody actually laughs at, all the characters except a few side characters act like complete children despite many of them being adults. It's literally Bland Late 2010's CN show #4 Now with new reskin so it doesn't look like calarts garbage kinda

Most characters ARE children, tho. Other than Gar, immigrant guy, Judy and her customers and Boxman and his clients, everyone is a teen or a child.

CN has a very specific profile for what it wants from its shows right now.

They want shows that are mostly episodic with just a bit of story/shipping they can go to occasionally for "events"

The story keeps the kids interested and invested in the franchise (driving toy sales) and the episodic nature allows for easy TV reruns.
