Yeah I like how there is this theme of "China just copies everyone's stuff" going on here too, but since it's writing by Chinese people it's completely open and honest and introspective of that culture. That's what makes it work, it's not just "knock-off Justice League/Superman" because that's THE POINT -- China rips off people a lot.

China wants what everyone else has but in it's own special Chinese way. So we get that with all the Chinese mythology and lore blended in too. This strikes the right balance everywhere, very ying/yang in a meta way. Kenan manages to be "Superman" but his own character too, he's not Clark Kent at all.
