Love it. Absolutely love it.
I really enjoy it, when I'm able to work up the courage to watch it.
Seen it over 50 times, shown it to over 50 people, all of them loved it and it got better Everytime.

A pleasant surprise.
Didn't like it. There's a point in feelbad stories like it where it reaches a certain low, like one gutpunch too many, and then thereafter I just write it off. Pretty much "Oh boy another depressing thing to happen, didn't see that coming!"
And this movie reaches it like halfway through.

Thought it was boring, never knew anyone else watched it or heard of it because it was that bad. Forgot what it was called. Looked it up one day and apparently everyone sucks its dick.

lol
I like a lot about it, but by the end they are straining to be depressing. It gets stupid to be as much of a downer as possible.
This woman knows this man well enough to literally write the book on him, then is surprised by his reaction to her book? He does not like surprises and is very insular, and due to his problems he can overreact to very small things in his life. She should know this, and know that in time he could grow to become comfortable with it or whatever but nope she destroys her book. She ruins her life because a man, that she wrote a book about, has a condition that would make him react exactly the way he did. Having spent just over an hour with him, nothing compared to the length of time she's corresponded with him, this reaction came as no surprise. It's something he'd clearly have to overcome and wrestle with. But no, she suddenly becomes an idiot who is shocked and upset by his completely predictable reaction.
I appreciate what it was trying to do, but tragedy through idiocy is only frustrating for me.

>she has a birthmark the colour of poo
what the fuck
I remember I had my Mom visit and asked her to pick out some movies from my collection to bring over and watch. She found this one and asked if it was any good and she thought it looked interesting. I nearly paniced and lied and told her it wasn't any good because I didn't want to break down crying in front of her.
