If people want to draw pictures and write stories and shit that's one thing. When they want to kill each other over which ship will "happen" it's just stupid. I mean none of the ships will "happen" because the characters don't exist and will have no impact on your love life. It used to be you only saw people get so upset when a character got killed off but now who fictional characters are dating seems to be the life or death thing. All of it is dumb. Especially when it's not a romance and it doesn't even matter much.

Harry Potter fans were really bad with that, the love stuff was just subplots but some people cared way more about them then the wizard war and friendship plots. At least for this fandom the incest and triangle shippers never thought their ships were going to be in the show so there weren't any ship wars there but the Padippica, Wendip, and Candip shippers sure were at each other's throats all the time.

Of course the biggest fights were about whether shipping Pinecest meant you should go to Hell or not, which is its own stupid thing. Even when the most popular ships are crackships, fandom finds a way to throw a fit somehow.

Yeah, the season finales are not very good. The camera pins were just retarded. He never used them before. His trick to knowing everything about the townspeople should've been established in episode 4.

A lot of stuff comes out of nowhere. Like McGucket's spontaneous amnesia in the Blindeye episode. Yes, he was a kook but they never established he had an actual amnesia. He remembered his son, his old job, even his work buddy. And why the hell does his son even live in Gravity Falls if McGucket is not a native? Goddamn retcons.
