Wow, they're really going for it. Assuming of course, this actually ships and doesn't get canceled like some other TPBs have.

Hmmm ... I'm not a fan of King's Batman ( dropped it after I Am Suicide ); but a big part of that is/was the crappy poser "art." Now I'll have to check this out and see if he's gotten over his stage fright ( it's either that or Editorial fuckery because I've literally enjoyed every other comic I've read by him ).

it's kinda annoying how anything that could have been interesting here is tba, like is tynion not doing the tmnt/batman sequel? Who the fuck is writing justice league now? all this other stuff was common knowledge

OP, you missed out the Darkseid #1 Solicit.

difference is these books have writers and artists with somewhat big followings, these books will survive for a little while.

Be fair, would you want to give up the crown jewel of the entire comic medium?

>Or he's been a fucking hack this whole time and you're just now realizing it.
I liked Sherif of Babylon fine and Vision was my favorite comic of the last year or two so I was pretty hyped to have him on Batman ( or, really, ANYONE other than Snyder ). And I know from the storytimes that I'm FAR from the only person who read the first 2 or 3 arcs on Bats and wondered what the fuck happened.

But, then, I'm not a 12 year old /co/ntrarian who reflexively hates anything that's popular.

He just cant get the voice right and has stupid shit like "Bat, Cat". You cant just add that like it's something they always called each other. It just doesn't work

No, seriously, /co/ hates every Batman writer.

BATMAN #33
Written by TOM KING
Art and cover by JOELLE JONES
Variant cover by OLIVIER COIPEL
“A DREAM OF ME” part 1! Following his marriage proposal to Catwoman, Batman leaves Gotham City on a quest of renewal and redemption. As he travels and fights, he encounters members of his family—each disturbed by Batman’s journey, each ready to stand in his way, each ready to push back against Batman’s stubborn determination to evolve into something better than a superhero.
On sale OCTOBER 18 • 32 pg, FC, $2.99 US • RATED T

Sounds like a hard pass to me: my patience for people who sign on to write capeshit and then bend over backwards and put their head up their own ass rather than actually WRITE capeshit is pretty low at best and this looks like an excuse for more flashbacks and talking heads.

>>
>>95282066
>He just cant get the voice right and has stupid shit like "Bat, Cat".
I hated the dialog, sure; but my main issue was how poorly written the damn thing was. I mean: you *seriously* expect me to believe that fucking BATMAN can't think of any way to land a plane other than going full kamikaze? Of course not. That's classic "Plot Induced Stupidity/Idiot Ball" where he wanted Bats to need a save so he just had him act like a helpless fucktard. Which would be bad ENOUGH but then the very next issue he has Not-Superman and Not-Supergirl get their asses handed to them by Grundy ... whom he literally takes down with one hand. That's just shit writing. Either Bats is a fucking NINJA who can disappear off a roof and even Not-Superman's superdoopervision can't find him ... OR he's all-too-human; but not fucking BOTH in the same fucking arc!
>>

Do you honestly expect people to take this seriously?

You might not be too far off with this, bth.

I liked Vision but I also am a long time Marvelfag so I got all the bits and bobs like Grim Reaper being the brother of Wonder Man whom Vision's original brainpatterns were copied from and so on.

Omega Men, on the other hand, just left me scratching my head at what the fuss was about. I thought it was boring. BUT I've never read any Lantern's stuff and only know them from the cartoons and movie and had no idea who the Omega Men were going in.

That seems to be the case with most of Rebrith as well: I only started reading DC with Nu52 so I lack the background to get anything out of most of the nostalgia fagging that goes on in books like Flash, Titans, or Superman.

But that's not so much "uniformly bad writing" as it is "editorially mandated target audience that's not me." Which, of course, is the same problem with most of Marvel only moreso.
>>
>>95282192

It's probably dead , anon. The only Rebirth books doing worse are Blue Beetle and Cyborg. Shit even Superwoman is selling better. It bothers me because he was never given a fair shake. A lot of people slagged him off for being another minority replacement, even though Superman was still around

Sure: but Killer Frost and Lobo don't exactly scream "Justice League" to me and this was explicitly Batman's personal hit squad where JLI was what happened when they realized that having a team that was explicitly endorsed by the US government was going to close as many doors as it opened. These days it's just plain old "Justice League" w/o Europe, International, or America because it's a world wide group with 2/3 of The Trinity having been born elsewhere.

JLA should really operate more or less like the forward face of the DEO, imho.

Blue Beetle and Superwoman are apparently ending at #18.

DC can afford keep around 1 or 2 low selling books like Cyborg (since they're trying to make him big and can't have a member of the JL without a solo book) and New Super-Man which is critically loved and has a small yet vocal fanbase, is written by an award winning author and is apparently a Jim Lee darling title.

Hell, Marvel has literally 10 series selling below New Super-Man's numbers in August. So DC should easily be able to keep around 2 low selling books.

>>
>>95282089
I think they just wanna make sure they're a lot ahead of the schedule. The first three issues were already done before the announcement anyway. Shaner was moving house so Reis did the first three issues, Shaner started working on it shortly after the announcement I think, which means he's probably finished one issue maybe two at best. They'll probably solicit it once they have 6-7 issues in total or when they realize Shaner's too slow for a monthly and they're gonna make him and Reis take turns in threes or something. Either way, it's probably gonna be solicited to come out in February.
>>
>>95283742

>>
>>95283717
>He's responsible for 80% of them though.
Really doubt this. A lot of suggestions came from editorials, he just okayed them and gave them his blessings with expectations. Look at the bat editorial, Tynion and Bennett were hired because Snyder backs them up, Seeley was hired because he was writing Grayson and King was hired because DC wants to make him a star. Even someone like Percy on Green Arrow, Tomasi and Jurgens on Superman or Abnett on Aquaman were pre Rebirth carry-overs. Johns literally did not have enough time to handpick every creator, he just told them all his "vision."

Jurgens was backed by Johns. I think Tomasi too, not sure. Percy talked about going to dinner to discuss his upcoming project(this is pre Rebirth) with Johns(and he got Teen Titans). Abnett was there before New52 but I think Johns picked him. There's also Venditti that should've been thrown out, Williamson that Johns mentioned meeting when he was writing Flash and Williamson was just a kid, his buttbudy Rucka. Also Lobdell. And Isabella on Black Lighting too, I think. Not to mention him continuing to feed everyone bullshit about holding back Shazam and trying to fee you shit that they just hadn't found the right team yet or something and then you'll finally get the damn ongoing and you'll get Mark fucking Waid on writing.

>>
>>95283797
Just look at his twitter or something, guy really really wants to work at Marvel and he only signed the DC exclusive out of a sense of loyalty since DC is how he actually got into comics. >If you think Reis is doing more than those first few issues then you are a naive fool.
He's not doing 'em now, but they probably will try getting him because Shaner really is too slow, and I don't see any reason for him not to accept it.

>Also, if you expect there to be no fill ins and the comic being drawn by Shaner and Reis... well, ha.
If by fill in, you mean some shit like "guest artist Riley Rossmo draws this standalone story" or "series writer Jeff Lemire takes on the art duties in this story" or someting along those lines, sure that might happen. But if you mean fill in, in the sense of Orlando's JLA where they don't have ongoing artists and every issue is fill-in artists putting in non-complete art; then no, of course that shits not gonna happen here.

They are probably gonna have one or two month hiatus' between each arc to get more time for Shaner though, all these Dark Matter titles are probably gonna go the way of Doom Patrol with hiatus', missing deadlines and fill-in artists. I can't believe they fucked up so bad with the deadlines on Doom Patrol, that all 3 other YA titles are now having a three month hiatus just so Doom patrol can catch up, even though Doom Patrol was launched months before the others. Terrifics is gonna be Doom Patrol of Dark Matter that's for sure.
>>

Anon that's why I said
>Once he has enough money, which I guess he thinks is in four years, he'll stop with Batman
100 issues with double shipping means roughly four years desu. You thinks he wants to write 100 issues because that's how far ahead he planned a story or something? No, he wants to do it because if he writes it for 4 years he gonna have a shit ton of money, like Snyder probably does now, and he's gonna be able to just work on whatever the fuck he wants to, like Snyder probably can now.
>>
>>95283901
I can't stand Orlando's writing, so I had no idea JLA's editorial work with artists was so bad. I still don't understand what the one is twice a month and hasn't dropped, unless they promised Orlando something when they gave him the title.

My big question is: which titles are getting the can? According to my LCS, DC is committing to not adding too many titles without cancelling others - but which ones will go? I desperately hope it's not my beloved Deathstroke, since it's not selling the worst of DC's main titles.
>>
>>95283901
>I can't believe they fucked up so bad with the deadlines on Doom Patrol, that all 3 other YA titles are now having a three month hiatus just so Doom patrol can catch up, even though Doom Patrol was launched months before the others. Terrifics is gonna be Doom Patrol of Dark Matter that's for sure.
What are you talking about? Shade had a fill in issue and Zarcone just barely got 12 done in the nick of time. Mother Panic also has the majority of issues drawn by that Crysal hack, maybe this hiatus will mean some more Tommy Lee Edwards. And Oeming might've needed a break too, not that he ain't shit and a fill in would've actually been an improvement.
>>
>>95282026

I just hope that King does a better exit than Snyder, who should have ended with the n52, instead of churning out overpriced, underbaked stuff with "premiere" artists who aren't doing their best work for him for two years while someone else takes over the main Bat title. Though, to be fair, Morrison did the same thing to Snyder. I just hope King does a better job wrapping things up, and DC is wise enough to actually do a solid creative shift instead of trying to desperately hold onto their previous Batman team while a new team gets up and running.
>>
>>95283902
Some anons just wants to blame Johns even though it's the same sort of creators that have been at DC before he even rose in power. At worst I think you can blame him for not causing any change in that regard but it's mostly status quo at this point.
>>
>>95283939
Deathstoke has stabilizes at over 20k. It's safe. Blue Beetle, Superwoman and Cyborg at the very least will go before it.

>>95283939
Green Arrow is getting downgraded to monthly next I think, and they probably won't start cancelling anything until Nightwing, Harley Quinn and one of the GL titles are monthly too. After that point, or if Sebela's run is shitty too, Blue Beetle will probably be the first one to get canned. They'll try holding out Cyborg for longer, they'll probably get a new writer on that one too, but after Beetle it'll either be Cyborg that gets canned, or Superwoman. After those three, they probably will have to cancel New-Superman, although everyone who reads it seems to love it. And after that, Deathstroke seems like the one that would get canned anon.
>>

I think Deathstroke is doing better than both of Batgirl's titles, and I'm pretty sure DC is, at worst, going to combine them before it cancels their "favorite female Bat superhero" (yes, I think they'd cancel Batwoman before they cancelled Babsgirl). They need to do something about those Batgirl sales, though.

But really glad about Deathstroke. I want at least another year of my favorite "worst dad ever" stories.

>>95284058
That fill-in artist in Shade kind of worked because it was a one-shot. They style didn't match well, but it gave it a different look.
>>
>>95284058
Way said he was slow on scripts too. Regardless, the hiatuses are needed by the artists not because "DP needs to catch up"
>>
>>95284080
That would be pretty awesome. Or Adam Hughes.

>>95284037
Much as I appreciate that Sebela seems to like WILDCARD BITCHES Spoiler, he's a crummy person (judging by his twitter about what he actually does in real life), so I kinda want him to fail on Blue Beetle and be replaced. But part of me also wants him contained on Blue Beetle so Tynion doesn't try to farm off a Red Robin/Spoiler/Cassandra Cain title on him. That would be the worst.
>>
>>95284072
It was Romita's best work in decades.
>>
>>95284106
I read some Sebela comics, he's a crummy writer too.
>>
>>95284037
I believe DC is going to do some clean up next year. Some books will go, some will be downgraded to monthly and they might added new on-goings to replace the ones they cancelled.
>>
>>95284009
>They unironically have Tony Daniel as the main artist for... something.
Well, I guess I'll see myself out then. I understand them going with Kubert and JRJR and stuff because of their popularity in the years before, but why the fuck does Tony Daniel gets to be picked for an artist focused imprint?

>Everyone on those Dark mater titles is okay at best, except Shaner.
Orlando and Rossmo are probably cooking up something together that might be placed on Dark Matter. It'll probably just be a lobo series for Young Animal though, Orlando will get to write Lobo and because it's edgy shit he'll be okay, and Rossmo will get to draw weird monsters again, by the way of aliens.
>>
>>95284142
Kubert's art has looked worse than Daniel's in the past few years.
>>
>>95284142
>Orlando and Rossmo are probably cooking up something together
Please no, Rossmo deserves better.
>>
>>95284122
Which ones?
>>
>>95284114
To be fair, I haven't really read a ton of his stuff since Spider-Man, but his Batman stuff is just so sloppy and generic compared to his work for Marvel in the early 2000s.
>>
>>95284104
>the hiatuses are needed by the artists not because "DP needs to catch up"
Anon the 13th issue of each series is a crossover story by Way and Orlando where the Young Animal titles crossover with Orlando JLA for a Milk Man story. The other three series are LITERALLY waiting for Doom Patrol to catch up because the future issues are set after the crossover.
>>
>>95284136
>they might added new on-goings to replace the ones they cancelled.
I really hope they don't. DC is getting a little crowded with the DM lineup so it's better if they don't add more books.

I actually prefer their new approach where they are doing elseworld trades and giving minis to characters that can't carry on-goings.
>>
>>95284171
Dead Letters I think and Demonic(?).
>>
>>95284178
I thought it was just DP/JL. Such a dumb idea.
>>
>>95284122
His work on Tec has been competent, but nothing to write home about, despite being about my favorite character.
>>
>>95284184
I'd like it too if the minis weren't for characters with ongoings(Supergirl, Night wing), old ass writers returning to franchises they worked on decades back(Bane, Black Lightning) or just generally crap creative teams.
>>
>>95284160
Rossmo deserves the best, but he ended up being friends with Orlando and keeps working on stuff with him, so nothing we can do about that. Even him working with Tynion was better than this, because Constantine had ghosts and monsters and demons and shit, but seeing him just do "normal men fight" in Batman/Shadow, has been hurting my heart. I sure hope he works with Grecian on a creator owned with a stupidly crazy premise again, Proof and Rasputin were both perfect.
>>
>>95284216
So did I, but the 12th issue of Shade ended saying "Next Issue: MILK WARS" and when Castellucci was asked on twitter when Shade will return, she said something like "right after the Young Animal JLA crossover".
>>
>>95284248
>if the minis weren't for characters with ongoings(Supergirl, Night wing)
This, why the heck these two were given miniseries that hardly anyone cares about?
>>
>>95284275
The first part of Rasputin was perfect, the second part... not do much. I'd I.agine he'll get tired of working with the same writer over and over again, only read the first two issues of Batman/Shadow but the art looked great, writing was just crap. Constantine was surprisingly well written.
>>
>>95284294
Because they're safe.
>>
>>95284294
They got too confident with Nighwing and they have been trying to push Supergirl for years.

I guess it's just going to be a one time thing.
>>
>>95284307
Yeah, so safe that their mini books sales are so mediocre.
>>
>>95283563
What, that's not why he did that. I-ching is supposed to be yin and yang, and his evil side can't exactly go around committing crimes undisguised because he looks almost identical to the good version.

Also, that page exists BECAUSE of yellow peril. That was the whole point.
>>
>>95284322
Well, what do you expexct? People don't buy minis, they trade wait them.
>>
>>95284336
If the first issue didn't do well, then there's no interest in the book.
>>
>>95284331
An odd looking cool monster guy should just be an odd looking cool monster guy without people crying about their hurt feelings.
>>
>>95284354

>>
>>95284184
I don't know why they didn't think in this before
>>
>>95284056
Batwoman is going to be the first one, then just one Batgirl book and I don't know about Batman Beyond.
>>
>>95284525
Killing Batwoman would be a pretty horrific PR move. I think the gay fandom has more clout than the black fandom, so why would Batwoman go before Cyborg? Or are you just talking about the titles I mentioned?
>>
>>95284611
They've canceled Batwoman before, it's no big deal. No one cares.
>>
>>95284444
The promoted it wrong. It's just a typical "should superpowers be regulated" story, but they made it seem like HydraCap and that Dick was evil.
>>
>>95284633
>and that Dick was evil
No they didn't.
>>
>>95284660
It's funny, one of the first announcements compared it to Hydra-cap and that Dick was an evil fascist, then Higgins spent all day on twitter denying those comments.
>>
>>95284660
They did. It was announced as "Dick kills the DCU" and the only pushback against the idea was Higgins on twitter correcting people but most buyers don't pay attention to that. They just read the solicits.
>>
>>95284633
If by "they" you mean "fans", yes. Though I do think DC didn't think carefully enough about the press release given the furor over Secret Empire.
>>
>>95284679
Irrelevant, the solicit implied a generic "should super powers be regulated" story, the first comments compared it to Civil War and then some autism screamed outrage.
>>
>>95284660
They give the impression.

It was such move from DC to announce this book after the clusterfunk that was Hydracap and made people go "uh no" which isn't a good thing for a character isn't big to begin with.
>>
>>95284730
>such move
*a bad move

*character that isn't big
>>
>>95284730
Maybe they were hoping to boost its sales with controversy. They certainly weren't trying in terms of writing quality.
>>
>>95284719
DC wanted the controversy to get people interested in the book since Nighwing isn't a draw, but they didn't get the result they wanted.

Is Jorge Jimenez not doing interiors for Super Sons anymore? Or is this change temporary?
>>
>>95284834
Probably a fill-in. I've rarely seen an artist keep a monthly without a break for more than six issues.
>>
>>95284611
The book is not selling and they have been trying to push Cyborg for a while, for ages, he's going to have a film too and he's part of Justice League.
>>
>>95285251

>>
>>95285326
He's their Carol
>>
>>95285356
At least they played the long game with Victor
>>
>>95285356
Uggggggg. Then they should have put someone with a big name on it. Snyder should write Cyborg - it would give Duke a place to go.
>>
>>95285410
They pulled a Marvel. They wanted Priest to write it, he said no black guys. So they gave it to Semper.
>>
>>95282103
I guarantee he's doing something stupid like taking Kite Man's kid to a lazarus pit.

There's all the middle east imagery, BvS knightmare suit batman and the fact that I'm pretty sure I saw Ra's on a cover.

I think he's telling Selina the story because that was a particularly fucked up moment. And the senpai wants to stop him because it's a dumb fucking idea.

He made peace with his mother in IAB, peace with his father in the Button. Now he has to make peace with himself to move on.
>>
>>95285557
Priest isn't really a big name. He's got loyalty, and he's amazing (I love him, and want him to write Batman or Detective to get his rep to match his skills), but I don't think he can sell the same way a Greg Rucka or similar could sell.
>>
>>95284373

I think it kind of changes things when the monster guy is from the cover of maybe the second most significant comic of all time.

>>
>>95285589
I think you are mistaken, dude. The imagery you are talking about is Bruce going into a journey after his proposal with catwoman where he will meet his ex-girlfriends along the way and one of them is Talia.
>>
>>95282103
if this has something to do with ghosts Tom King is officially a hack
>>
>>95285606
I'm saying they specifically wanted to put a black guy on Cyborg because he's black, just as Marvel does the same with their black and female solos.
>>
>>95285606
Rucka isn't a big seller despite being shilled by websites and shit when in reality he's just a mediocre writer with a lesbian fetish.
>>
>>95285692
I'm basing it on all assumptions but I don't think I'm mistaken. Every arc has lead to another. IAG led to batman wanting to fix GGirl. IAS was him getting the fix. IAG was him employing that fix at great risk. He makes peace with his mother with that. Then makes peace with his father in the Button. And then proposes to Selina and tells her his worst moment, which includes a dead kid and ruining the kids father's life.

I think he feels the next generation can take over, but that he needs to make things right before bowing out.

but I do want to know why do you think he'd go across the world just to meet with talia, who's generally not in the middle east anymore.
>>
>>95285645
I want him to get Batman because he's already said he'd do it in a heartbeat, and because it'll boost his name way more than any other title.
>>
>>95285757
Rucka's stuff seems to sell pretty solidly - his indie books maintain their sales, and when he gets a mainstream book, it seems to do well as well. Also, he's very good at what he does, even if what he does is pretty much all the same.
>>
>>95285831
I don't think it would boost his name.
>>
>>95285802
>but I do want to know why do you think he'd go across the world just to meet with talia, who's generally not in the middle east anymore
Because King said he is going to meet with his ex-girlfriends in his journey. Looking at cover, it's clear Talia is going to be the first one.
>>
>>95285864
Batman.

Not boost the name of the writer who does it.

Where did king say this? It says he meets with member of his family which I'm assuming means bat family. I don't recall in any of the interviews tom saying something about "girlfriends".

The mother of his child, talia, is a bit different than a simple girlfriend and also doesn't negate the Ra's or Lazarus pit theory I have. If anything it strengthens it.
>>
>>95285645
It still amazes me that they got Ostrander to write War Crimes but decided against throwing money at him to get him to write the ongoing.

>Where did king say this?
Here:

>“Is he going crazy or is he finally finding peace?” That’s the question that all of Batman’s sons will collectively ask themeselves, King said. He also said that Bruce will be encountering past loves like Silver St. Cloud and grappling with why they failed.
>>
>>95286273
Is he even doing anything right now though? If he's available, why not use him before he's fucking dead?
>>
>>95286379
I'm with you on that but using him as nostalgia pandering and telling him to do more stories on a franchise in which he's already used up all his ideas is dumb. And it's especially dumb because Synergy Squad right now has editorial holding onto it with an iron grip.
>>
>>95286317

This is pretty much why it's a given they're getting married. King is doing the "trip down memory lane" thing they do in dramas and sitcoms, where the lead makes peace with his/her exes, before the big wedding episode.
>>
>>95283728

Also the original synopses for those who forgot about them:
>Sideways by writers Dan Didio & Justin Jordan and artist Kenneth Rocafort (September), following "a teleporting teenager changed by the events of [Dark Nights: Metal]".

>The Silencer by writer Dan Abnett and artist John Romita Jr. (September) "will focus on Honor Guest, the former world’s deadliest assassin now trying for a quiet life in the suburbs until (surprise!) her former life comes back to haunt her, and she must become the Silencer to protect her family."

>Immortal Men by writer James Tynion IV and artist Jim Lee (October), "a story about five immortal siblings who “operate from the shadows, recruiting the elite against the foes who seek to bring about Armageddon."

>Damage by writer Robert Venditti and artist Tony S. Daniel (October) "in which army recruit Ethan Avery is granted the power “to unleash an unstoppable monster for one hour at a time."

Shit, when did I miss that announcement? Is Ray Fawkes any good? As with any D-Lister's solo, I have high hopes, and low expectations.
>>
>>95294199
It was a one-shot and it was terrible.
>>
>>95295748
DC has a lot of mini's this fall/winter.
Etrigan: Hell on Earth
Ragman
Deadman
Mystic U
And probably some unannounced for January. They were all announced pretty quickly, so its not your fault that you missed one.
>>
>>95295748
He's hit and miss. The artist is cool.
>>
>>95295748
Ray Fawkes is one of those writers that are usually mediocre but can churn out something passable.

>>95296007
Black Lightning is another one.
I think there was a Suicide Squad one that was an anthology (?) but it got delayed/cancelled.
>>
>>95296328
Oh right, I forgot about Black Lightning and Suicide Squad: The Black Files. I think there already was a mini about the SS, but this one was delayed for "art changes," but BleedingCool says it's because Neil Gaiman had a fit about Endless rights, even though Neil denies that
>>
>>95296556
>art changes
I think Sandman characterfag autists started that fuss.
>>
>>95298143
BleedingCool was the only website to go with "this is a new genderfluid endless-based character" statement and then wrote a few articles about how DC was totally about to get sued to death. No other website picked up the thing until it was delayed
>>
who's taking over Justice League? Just fucking tell me already
it's been shitty since Kelly left
>>
>BATMAN WHITE KNIGHT #3

Its #1 is the third in solicitations already
>>
>>95298413
>It's been shitty since Morrison left
ftfy
>>
>>95296556
I hope Gaiman sues Bleedingcool
>>
>>95293906
Snyder and Lemire can be good when they try. Abnett has never written anything good. It's evident when Cosmic Marvel is considered to be his best work.
>>
>>95291665
Alan Grant's run was mediocre and terrible when he was shifted to shadow of the Bat. Not even the top five Batman runs. The fill ins were a hundred times better.
>>
>>95282287
My thoughts exactly.
>>
>>95299594
They are tied to Avatar Press, and that publishing house has had a lot of big clearance sales, and has had to kickstart their last few books. BleedingCool literally might not be around for long
>>
>>95299594
>>95299594
why would he

Marvel: >>95300719

Thanks but who cares?

It’s Priest, according to the updated solicit summary. It does say Bryan Hitch in the writer credit, but that seems to be an error.

Man i'd be down for a Robins vs TMNT comic.

Dick vs Leo for blue leader dual wielders.
Jay vs Raph for red hot-headed angry vigilantes
Tim vs Don for the intelligent/detective teamup
Damien vs Mikey for funny angry manlet fighting a large comedic-relief turtle who really gets on his nerves

Huh, so Seeley and Humphries just switched books? That's odd.

This is the bland estimate approach possible. So far, rebirth has been the worst era for DC. It's full of editorially mandated safe comics.

Priest on Justice League is AMAZING news. Even moreso Pete Woods on cover art - I've missed Pete Woods a lot.

What's the sauce on the solicit text?

I guess Bruce isn't getting married. First he goes on a trip through the desert, then he teams up with his oldest buddy "to see hope behind the madness". That doesn't sound like wedding bells time for him.

>Priest on Justice League
HOLY SHIT

>>95310116
I'm not that excited. Priest on his blog has always said that he's not interested in powerful superheroes. So I doubt he'll be giving his best on this.

Previewsworld fucked up and you could see the December 2017 solicits by putting in item codes.

Priest should've replaced Percy on GA. He'd get an amazing artist in either Schmidt or Ferreyra.
Which one of them is staying behind now that GA is monthly?
>>
>>95310150
He's written them before. He did Justice League Task Force and that issue of JLA where Aquaman has unresolved sexual tension with Diana.
>>
>>95310263
Percy definitely isn't the biggest bat fan.

>>95306264
Wait this is the big book sam humphries got, wtf?! So humphries and seeley just traded books, why?
>>
>>95310150
He's writing Black Bolt, and he's written Wonder Woman before, so I think he'll do his best.

Seeley doesn't like long runs.

Okay he stayed on five months longer than I predicted, but close enough.
