More recently there were cases of people managing to hijack tvs in stores to broadcast porn. Ever since tv went to digital it's actually a lot harder to hijack broadcasts, since now it's not as simple as doing a pirate broadcast, you actually have to do some metal gear solid shit to get inside the network building to get access first, and they're usually so occupied that you can't really afford to go in unless you're friends with an intern on a late night shift who'll let you in to set it up. However, this is very difficult for most channels that air pre made content. Due to the live nature of it, news channels are much easier targets for these kinds of stunts.
