There are social taboos against the mixing of many yuman types. Probably more so in cultures like Nikol's feudal Japan.
And sometimes this mixing results in fertility problems, not just for hound-mixes.

But hound-mixes are probably rejected more, even in less orthodox cultures.

And then there is Mister Embalmer that doesn't know he is a hound mix and is still a crook.
