ITT-we predict cartoons in 10,000 AD

There won't be any cartoons by then. Just everyone living in a G-mod like collective where we can make anything we can think of in our own personal worlds or join others for new ideas and new friends. Cartoons will be obsolete in such a world.

Stories would exist, but they would be more like watching plays in this virtual existence. When everyone has the option to look how they want and create any kind of npc, the line between cartoon and realistic would blur more with every generation.

There is no live action nor cartoons. Everything is CGI, but it is indistinguishable from live action.

There will be no distinction between reality and virtual reality. Everything will be procedurally generated, there will be an infinite number of TV shows all generated in a nanosecond by a string computer; a computer that manipulates the strings that compose the very fabric of reality but in analogue rather than digital form.

The movies will be like comprehensible dreams, but they stay in your memory and you feel like you're actually there. In some movies, you are witnessing the event, whereas in some you see from the perspective of the protagonist and often the line between game and movie is impossible to distinguish.

This sounds like something that would happen by 2300, or 3000. However, technology hasn't progressed much since the year 3000 because the Subatomic Revolution occurs in the year 11000, much like the Industrial Revolution occured 10,000 or so years after the Agricultural Revolution.
