With sex not only available, but expected, dating someone becomes a huge decision. Just because you're encouraged to have sex doesn't make sex any less of a big deal to the individual. Having a vast dating experience is hard, and getting basic experience interacting with the opposite sex, in a platonic way, is difficult. Basic relations between sexes break down accordingly. Men and women understand eachother even more poorly than ever. As a side effect, the line between marriage and dating is blurred. "Having sex" was one of the major things relegated to marriage.
