it did worse than that, they'll most likely either rebrand, sink it and hope it blows over or maybe change the name of inhumans to something else and rebuild.

But this is one of the first times I've seen a massive advertising push get crushed across multiple mediums.

Movies, tv, comics..not sure where else they were pushing but it failed, badly. The internet makes marketing pushes more risky because information passes more quickly so it's harder for media companies to lie.

you need a lot of factors working together with an extensive marketing budget to push down any push back, like disney did with the first starwars. They killed criticism in any form, bribed critics. they did everything well for that movie and it made 2 billion, being a stealth reboot.

Of course they won't put her there. Besides Blck Bolt, she's the only other popular Inhuman and the one that sells the most (which isn't saying much). The events at Marvel and Champions have already kinda ruined her book and then the Hillary Clinton chilling happened and people DROPPED the book. I've only see it so well in digital ever since. I like Kamala, but Marvel has no fucking idea with how to manage new and young characters. Miles, Kamala, Viv and Sam sure as hell deserve better.
