Loved this show! It was a surprising gem back in the day. Loved their version of everything, especially the Ninjas (Kamakura was bestest), Lt. Stone, and Firefly. Spirit and Hi-Tech were cool, too.

I never thought I'd like a Joe series like I loved this one once it ended.

Then I got Renegades. Than that ended, too. T_T

Also, I kinda liked Scott Abernathy, too. He wasn't around much once his arc ended/during the second Season, but he was a nice little addition/change of pace.

What's actually odd isn't the accent, it's that they had to switch VAs between seasons. and Scarlett gained her accent in-between.

If you mean actual Saturday morning cartoons, then no. There were more after Sigma 6. If you mean was this the last GI Joe cartoon, then also no. That would be Renegades.

Cartoon-wise, I dunno. I feel there might be a lot of "politics" involved that might be holding things back for them making new shows and stuff (not literal politics, but like behind the scenes stuff). This is just a guess, though.

A couple years back, I recall hearing tale of a new cartoon in the works. Production turnaround for animated fair does take awhile, but I haven't seen or heard of anything else about it since.
