That is true but that's a common practice in comics. There's a lot of power in the name and limiting the choices for fans to enjoy that kind of character is another tactic.

The problem with Thor is the long drawn out mystery, the continuity issues, the hypocrisy, the shitting on manThor, and undeserved heaps of praise that femThor got.
