Why. The original VA (I assume that was her) sounded just fine. And like >>95125308 said, the designs are terrible. The kids look really fucking generic, nothing stands out about any of them.

Kids won't watch this, it's clearly for nostalgic adults, so why change anything?

I kinda wish they took this show in another direction, keeping Ms. Frizzle as the lead role and have the old students grown up and incorporated into the show somehow to be included in some episodes so we can see where they've ended up, the new students are fine but they've literally just copy pasted the arc types like the "joker" and the "red headed worrier", seems a bit boring and a lot of lost potential for old viewers and new.

Sure the eyes and ears slightly different, different hair style, but it's just the same model.
