Good taste but image for ants. This costume also depended on who drew it. Stegman, Mcguiness, Rivera, and Samnee did it justice. Camuncoli did a good job with it. Ramos bugged me because he messed up the eyes a lot. I think it's the main reason they changed the costume.

It's an incredibly balanced design that's easy to adapt and tweak in numerous ways without straying too far. Not to simple, but not too busy either. Good ratio of colors, and no elements that could be considered outdated. It really is timeless.

It's genius because you can instantly tell it's supposed to be a spider guy with nothing but a web pattern and a little spider on the chest. There's no need for multiple eye or extra arms crap or anything that's literally adding animal parts to the costume like with many of his villains.

It's perfectly simple and conveys its theme without sacrificing that simplicity.
