Fuck you fags I liked it. The False Face Society was one of the only interesting aspects to his character, even if his whole "mask" philosophy was pretty autistic it was at least better than the generic "sadistic businessman/crime lord" characterization he's been stuck with in recent years.

It's not that philosophy in and of itself which was autistic, it's just how far he stretched out his whole "mask" motif, coincidentally to that logical conclusion. I think in his origin story, he ended up getting bitten by a rabid raccoon as a kid, because he stupidly assumed that animals were just pretending to be dumber, baser creatures than they really are (or something like that). And then later in life, he sinks the cosmetics company he inherited because he thought it was a good idea to replace make-up foundation with face paint. He almost reads like a parody of gangster characters with one-note gimmicks, virtually everything he ever did up until he became a super-villain was a total disaster, like being a Dick Tracy mobster with a mask gimmick was the ONE role he was wired to get right.
