It's hard to say. There's probably more factors involved in the fight than just the sheer power level of each of them, so I wouldn't take it as a complete measure of Luke being stronger than Vader at that point, though I'm sure he's closer to Yoda tier by the TFA timeline.

I get this point, and I would otherwise agree, but the difference is that the Empire was rising from the Republic and CIS.

However the First Order is rising from the ashes, so in theory they should not be showing up out of nowhere with incredibly huge and superior tech.

However with all the Chiss/Snoke Unknown Regions set-up they've been doing, I am sure the LSG has a trump card they're going to pull soon to explain how the First Order is so powerful. When they do that, I will personally be fine with the First Order tech. Provided the next two movies are at least decent that is.

Star Destroyers are a staple of Star Wars that is not era specific. They were in the PT too, so it makes sense for the design philosophy to be consistent and more long-lasting than usual.

The distinction between this one and the Grievous one is that the Grievous death can't have happened because she's actually shown alive and on the Jedi Council later in the movie (albeit in miniature hologram form that most people won't notice). Luke certainly used his anger, but it's a popular discussion whether Vader effectively threw that fight. Honestly I don't think Vader did, though I'm open to that fact. What plays against it is that the Emperor didn't berate Vader for throwing the fight, and he would have if Vader had dared show weakness by not wanting to hurt his son, and the fact that ultimately Vader took a lot of effort to finally save Luke. I could still see that last one, of course. There IS a big difference between turning on the Emperor to save Luke and not having the heart to fully fight his son.

If Palpatine did perceive that Vader only lost because he couldn't bring himself to really hurt his son, I don't think he'd even bother pointing it out- he wants the strongest apprentice, and Vader showing that kind of weakness would make him less worthy than the guy who just used his anger to beat up the guy who until moments earlier he'd been trying to avoid fighting. I think all Palpatine would really have to say is "fuck Vader, Luke is the new hotness" and leave it at that, which is basically what he did.

Consider what happened with Dooku. When Anakin beat him, Sheev didn't bother telling Dooku that he was weak, or why he was being thrown aside- Dooku lost, Anakin won, that's all there was to it.

I did, with friends, and they became very boring after awhile. The story is a complete generic dumpster fire and the RPG grinding/loot system is a terrible model for a shooter. Most of the environments are quite linear as well. For all the hype it generated, it disappointed. TTK was better, but no DLC add-on can save a game as a whole, nor should it.

Oh, yeah, I feel fucking awful for people who paid full price for the trashfire the story was. I think it got a ton better with the DLC, and the strength is the things you can do with friends. Before Icebreaker broke the fucking meta in trials, going flawless was fun as shit. If you know how to play, you can find so many exploits in everything.
Wrath of the Machine is probably one of my favourite things in a game ever, its just so much fucking fun. the age of triumph version just made it more fun and challenging, but there's a reason that only 50% of players have touched it.

I really just preferred Shaak Ti going into exile or going on the run, whether it's to Felucia or elsewhere. Felucia was cool idea for an exile planet though given how dense it is with life, contrasts Obi-Wan's exile in the desert too. Only thing that doesn't sit well with me is it was an active battleground up until order 66, crawling with clones.

Her dying sucks bc she's supposed to be one best duellists on the council behind Kenobi & Windu. I think the EU had her helping younglings escape the temple and she even repelled the clone and Anakin for a brief moment before realising she was outmatched.

But that fit her a lot better, you'd think she would've sensed Vader coming if she was meditating, her canon death is just embarrassing. Plus she came across as one of the more compassionate Jedi despite being lumbered with the clinical, military side of things on Kamino. She didn't deserve this for all her work.

The Emperor couldn't detect the good in Vader so even if Vader had been holding back against Luke for sentimental reasons, Palpatine wouldn't know it since he didn't see Vader chucking him down an elevator shaft. That being said, Vader had actually been holding back in order to draw out Luke's anger just as Dooku had done to him. Perhaps he couldn't use the Dark Side because he held no hatred for Luke or was too afraid to hate and therefore was weaker, but he did not lose on purpose. He knew the stakes of that fight and very clearly did not want to die during the duel.

There's a whole host of other prospective complaints but currently they are just fears from having played the alpha and not knowing how exactly things are going to be handled in the final game. The only thing they probably won't change is the hideous cluttered holographic UI.

The question is whether he feels it worth telling a story where Rex dies, and I'm not sure that it exists. Obviously I am not part of their writers room so that's just my opinion, but short of bringing in Cody I can't think of any particularly compelling reason for Rex to die. He's gotten over most of his old business otherwise and there's far less drama from him learning about Vader's identity than Ahsoka, which is a story they already did anyway. As for Cody I'm not sure how much pathos you can get from Clone Bowl other than appealing to those who really want to see those two fighting atop an Imperial Metal Gear.

In all the most impact you can get from Rex - and again this is my opinion - is set it up so at least one clone fights for the Republic twice. From the wreckage of betraying their Jedi friends and being turned into the first Stormtroopers one clone at least was fighting the greatest battle against the Empire and helped the Jedi return to the galaxy.

It has about the same amount of launch maps, but across three eras. It has an actual canon campaign spanning out of canon media like Shattered Empire and Lost Stars. There was customization in the psp version, and I understand the new game will probably be better in a lot of standards, but I doubt that battlefront 2 2017 will be a better game in regards to 2017 2005 as battelfront 2 was in regards to 2005 if that makes sense
