I don't know if I love it but I genuinely liked it in season 2 and the only other ships I really care about are basically crack that have zero chance of happening anyway. Revealed a softer and more sensitive side to Keith when his hard tsun to everyone except Shiro (who he already knew beforehand) was getting aggravating. I actually felt bad for him over his sadness when Allura rejected him. It also made Allura more sympathetic to me when they unveiled her various insecurities and self-doubts. I'm really glad they kept that up with Allura in Season 3 even if it's a shame they didn't follow up on the other stuff.

I see the potential in the ship in that I believe Keith and Allura will grow together as confidants and hopefully lovers. Allura has learned about her faults through Keith and his heritage. Believe it or not Keith is taking a lot of what she says to heart. In the episode where he's getting triggered by Lotor, he repeats something that Allura stated in an earlier episode. The other half of season 2 was him feeling awful for her hatred over him, when in season 1 he was indifferent. I feel like he's warming up to her. Shiro, in comparison, is just making Keith regress with his constant coddling.

I've seen a lot more bottom Shiro content in Sheith lately but it's also never been hard to find, maybe 60% top shiro and 40% bottom. And like I said just because there's preerences for who tops or bottom doesn't make it tropey. Making it tropey would be making Keith effeminate, which I see way more in kl. I mean just look at the Klance tag on tumblr. They draw Keith looking like a 13 year old girl most of the time. I'm not saying this content doesn't exist in Sheith, but way less so.

I haven't been part of this convo up until now and I'm kind of hoping it dies since fandom discussion is never fruitful or interesting but I definitely separate the eastern artists from the western ones, you kind of have to if you like the more popular characters which tend to get mischaracterized the most or if you still want to enjoy a ship with a bad fandom. More power to you if you can stand the western fandom, but I just can't do it, man.

Yeah you can if you turn on the settings for it. Anyway let's just agree to disagree, because my experiences with the two ship tags has been different. I've found the Western SFW stuff for Sheith to be pretty good and balanced while the NSFW stuff is more tropey, while it's the other way around for Klance (though they really are settling into uke-Lance hard these days).

As for my experiences with Sheith 90% is a bit much but it's still on the higher end like 75%, I will concede that Sheith topShirofags usually make him a "nice" top as opposed to a rapey one like a lot of other semefags in other fandoms.
