At the risk of derailing this thread to company wars nonsense, I'm really confused as to why the MCU is getting progressively darker in visuals while DCEU is getting brighter and saturated.

Marvel is slowly trying to escalate their stakes and that means the characters become darker. DCEU started out dark and that was a huge turn off for much of the audience, so they're trying to dial it back (although some people will no doubt say this was their plan all along).

Also Marvel comics are more dark and pessimistic than DC except batman,DCEU was trying to turn the movie verse into a batman universe but they see now that Batman just like spiderman is suffering fatighe while wonder woman is currently the most popular live action hero by far.

Notice how the color of his suit doesnt change. The only thing on her that would change color/get brighter would be the lights on the waist like Scotts. The gold wouldnt magically get brighter.
