I own most of his '80s run stuff, some of my favorite Chin books since the Burgundy Age, but ya gotta admit, it got pretty edgy.

You should read the Crustacean Crisis crossover they had with Seagal and Pelican Chick, it gives you a really good idea of their respective power sets and the general status quo before the reboot. Though you're probably better off skipping the Lady Crab tie ins.

Let's be honest, it's about time the Boy had an ACTUAL love interest. Whatever weird thing he's got going on with Deeptoot doesn't count. It's bad for them, both as individuals in universe and characters out of it, escpecially for Deeptoot who loses al her cool-ness and just melts into putty around him for no reason. The only remaining candadites are Wonder Gal, who is a shit, and Hawk Gal, who is pretty much a no- go since I think even Butch forgot she existed. Also does anyone else read Dani's Solo.
