I don't mind soft GG. I mean Briana has muscles far more dense than probably any other /co/ character but she's not usually portrayed as super ripped. She's got that thicc power lifter body with the healthy layer of fat over the muscles. GG might (and probably should) be like that too if we're looking for a somewhat realistic depiction of someone genuinely strong and not just muscle body competition strong.

I thought up some "fun" what ifs that the kids might come up with when trying to figure out who Kay-2's dad is. Like that episode of Batman TAS where the kids talk gossip about Batman.

-She's actually Evilette's daughter who was sent to live with mainverse /co/lette
-She's actually a partial clone of Casey who /co/lette incubated with her own womb
-She's from an alternate timeline where she was born instead of Deelette
-She was part of a super project to create super aesthetic people and made illegally with stolen samples from /co/lette and /co/le

Cookie shuts up anyone who tries to suggest /co/nrad is the father and it turns out Kay-2's actual father is /d/emona all along. She just took after her mother 100%.

I imagine young Kay-2 as the shy type hiding behind Deelette and then later Cookie before PLOT things happen and she decides to go full Kim Possible.

I generally assume that none of her kids are canon and exist outside of /co/verse in their own little pocket dimensions. I mean Deelette is the only one we know for a fact gestated inside her womb and she physically gave birth to so if anyone is bordering on the periphery of canon it's her, but even so none of the material for /co/verse shit acknowledges any children by her and frankly it should definitely stay that way. Kay-2 and Cookie space adventures shit has it's own universe and Deelette exists in her own little side universe. Keep mainline /co/lette child-free.

Something unrelated, last thread when the /co/le issue 0 thing was being discussed, the people who I ended up imagining /co/le fighting when his powers give out are the Full Body Beat Down group. I like them being the go to street guys that everyone ends up fighting eventually.

Maybe the thread will survive the night and I'll come back to it to find some discussion.

Well you have to decide: 1. Does the kid have inherent powers? 2. Does he get it from exposure from it's mother? 3. If so, why in God's name would Marley be around her device while pregnant? She's a pretty smart woman, I sincerely doubt she'd be superheroing while carrying her child.

A way around this is if, while exposed to particles from her device Marley gets it in her DNA. It doesn't benefit her, but her child may carry those benefits.

Kay-2 ended up being a placeholder name because we're so fucking bad at coming up with actual names for characters. It's basically short for Casey two. Then we never we're able to come up with a real name and we got stuck with that.

Someone did come up with a name that began with a kay sound that was Hawaiian in origin I think, but I can never remember it.

That sounds like a pretty classic supervillain plan in the WINNERS DON'T USE DRUGS era.
It would be preachy about the dangers of drugs in this case "Super-Heroin" being pushed by a super villain that gives random people superpowers but they end up becoming so addicted they will do whatever he commands for their next fix.

The hero would have a classmate/associate who is an outsider and just wanted to feel strong & confident for once that ends up overdosing on the stuff, which they then use as ammunition to shame all the other super junkies into kicking the stuff thus ending the bad guy's plot.

Depends on how you want the story to go. Gods are historically rapists and she did keep /co/le in his cloud castle/whatever for some period of time before he managed to slip back to Earth.

I feel that there are a few given powers that are everlasting no matter how many followers you have (Access to the mortal realm, manipulate within their domain (Shadow puppets, in her case), immortality)

When you have followers, though, You start to be able to manipulate and influence the world itself starting with a nudge (Someone who is fine with any ice cream flavor will choose vanilla) to a miracle (The world best sniper misses their target) to enchanting followers (passive +5 to dex for worshippers)

There's probably more we could add but that's probably enough we need to have shenanigans ensue.

Back in the day, champions who grew famous through their deeds had power sent to their gods, but her champion isn't doing any of that and is still gaining a following.
So /co/le starts to get rivals in the industry who are other gods' champions.

The goddess doesn't care about any of that though, she just wants her eye candy, but ends up becoming the first of their pantheon to really regain some power, to all the other gods and goddesses immense jealously.

I don't think that many people will believe the goddess thing is any more than a gimmick unless they try to dishonorably attack /co/le, then they get a taste of divine intervention.

When the goddess is trying to get on /co/le's good side, she'll divine intervention the paparazzi for him making all their equipment fail to operate and putting up a barrier of some sort so they can't get too close to /co/le.

To someone like Skathi, she can walk right through a deterrent like that.

/co/le being a stuntman means he can probably use his powers pretty well to pull off impossible stunts like actually walking away from explosions without getting kicked over and burned with ruptured ear drums.

Last thread all that was really talked about for his powers was super strength, super human vision, some form of invulnerability, and super stamina.

Who is to say Skathi wouldn't want to try new things and try to act after accidentally trashing the set of an action movie in the middle of a fight scene /co/le was stunt doubling for?
Skathi VS /co/le, only /co/le is just trying to defend himself until the lights change and someone yells CUT. The director loved how "real" it all was and they begin doing rewrites to the script to have more of the big blue lady in the movie.

She wants him to be her accessory, a shiny medal, something that draws attention to her for having it rather than something interesting for its own sake.

Based just on the discussion, it seems he was rather depressed before meeting the goddess, did his mood improve any after getting those magic clothes that give him full control over his abilities? Does he wear the clothes underneath his costumes while doing stunts on set?

I think it depends if we wanna bring in the idea if he's in porn, or rather, if we want to bring up sex at all. I think it's fine to bring up her having her way with him. I think an important thing is to have a dark humor about the whole situation.

The goddess maintains some kind of proximity to her champion, indirect or otherwise, I'd imagine. So, assuming she's able to spectate or Cole can petition her to appear, if they explain the concept of Whisper to Cole and she's listening, then Whisper has an in road to her.

Though I haven't drawn anything in three weeks but, I'v been had this idea about a timid necromancer who pretty much looks like jailbait. Still need to work on it but it's one of the few ideas I really liked

That sounds visually interesting. Maybe as /Co/le scramble to find a loophole, the climatic moment is when the giant hand returns only for Whisper dives between and brings up the loophole.

The Rune Keeper is the smart one.
I'm just pulling from things we already have in the setting. The demon kings are pretty much the main magic brokers for demon kind on the planes where Erin is and each has a different "flavor" added in with the magic they dispense.

We've never really dealt with gods before in the setting (/co/smic beings are something else entirely from divine beings) aside from Skathi and some begins she's fought before, along with some other underdeveloped characters with divine looking powers.

The difference between /co/le and the other champions is that the goddess is personally invested in /co/le whereas the other champions are more passing fancies to the other gods. Meaning if /co/le were ever to lose, he still wouldn't lose favor with the goddess, because she actually loves him rather than uses him as a tool to get more faith.

It ends up meaning /co/le is much more experienced than anyone the other gods can throw at him since they tend to lose interest in any champion that doesn't "win" and then they're about to get out of their contracts.

I'd imagine the end of the "third issue" is of the other gods watching the goddess watch /co/le and then realize she's gaining faith from his exploits. They collectively get an "oh shit" expression since she's now the only one of them to have new power flowing in.

Then /co/le starts getting rivals in the industry. The other gods try gloating about it to the goddess, but she gives zero fucks and just keeps her trance on /co/le, which should piss the other gods off enough to put the pressure on their champions to the point where they want out after having previously enjoyed the position.

I don't think /co/le would get much of a tour, it's mainly grab, hi I'm the goddess and this is what the clothes do, locked door, fug sounds heard throughout the kingdom.

I'm not one to get the story hung up on details that can be shown to the audience with a more plot relevant scene like with the other gods wondering who the hell is in there.

I feel I need to compile and condense the scenes so far into the right order so we know where we're at and where the gaps are as we move forward.

The gist of everything is fine. Dialogue can be spruced up later. My only 2 cents is to maybe have SG meet with /co/le (in person or over the phone) and offer the suit as a harness from a "concerned citizen". About how big should he be?

Should we introduce some of the other champions before they become champions? Maybe they meet /co/le on set and express jealousy and that's how the gods get them.

But what powers would the other champions have? All of /co/le's powers are ones he already had, he just gets full mastery of them thanks to the goddess.

That might be why /co/le is thought by the other gods to be so much better than their champions, because he was already strong before. Then they start trying to get supers and that alerts the super organizations and gets Skathi involved.
