If anyone is looking for more Crossed, I found a book series that is Crossed in all but name.

It's all the same setup: killer infected that retain their memories, children dying, rape and mutilation. Just that the Crossed don't have crosses, but big Joker smiles instead

It was an okay read. Very similar. There was one scene where a bunch of Not-Crossed infect a stadium-turned-refugee-center by shooting water balloons full of infected piss into the stadium using a catapult.

It's almost as if Ennis wrote it himself
