It's a story about a world ruled and inhabited by more or less evil people. The entire point of Aesma's story was that you can be stupid and violent, and you'll still come out fine as long as your capability for violence outweights your stupidity.

If there's an in-universe reason for the fortress not being full of sacrifice doors, I imagine it's a lack of supply. Maybe the only person that knew how to make the door was immediately sacrificed to it (like locking Deadalus in his own labyrinth), or it's crafted from Unobtanium and there's only very few of them in existence.

White Chain's whole deal is she's a really shitty angel. She likes humans too much and their sexual dimorphism. She doesn't really want to follow the angel code or whatever. I have my doubts she will actually betray Allison.

Cio clearly isn't really comfortable with devil things after Yabalchoath went way too hard in the evil paint. Allison kinda forced her to do this heist with her but she was very resistant earlier in the chapter. I have about $2.50 in my wallet that says Cio and White Chain are going to have some kind of symmetrical development with Cio being very not-devilish and White Chain being very not-angelish.

And then there was the prophecy where the Rising King will be flanked by a white and black flame, and I don't think that darkie is going to be Oskar or Princess Mamoru Jack Jacck Daniels.
