as somebody who's never watched anime it's okay. It's nice to have a lighthearted, fun show - unlike Clarence and WBB it embraces being unrealistic and goofy. Its sense of humour is also a little more innocent than Gumball, which I appreciate.

K.O. to me is a genuinely likable character. He reminds me a lot of Kid Goku, but without his total dominance. Innocence, positivity, resilience, all almost to the point of naivete. The only time he's thrown me off is when he's literally so sheltered he doesn't know what a joke is, I mean seriously?

I've honestly grown weary of snarky kid characters. It was funny in the late 90's when they were making quips and cracking jokes way above their age range but now it just seems like those types are written as jaded or mean-spirited.

I have this odd habit of severe second-hand embarassment when watching cartoons, so bad I turn off what I'm watching until it's over if I'm watching live TV, or I fast forward.

It happens to me a lot watching cartoons, but doesn't happen as often with this one. Even in awkward situations I can be comfortable with it.

Sorry for the blog, but I just wanted to say this cartoon doesn't nerve you to get your attention.

What will Rad's backstory be? All we know is that he's from Planet X, although I kinda hope that it's at least as heart-wrenching as Enid's.

Doesn't feel different, just a pretty generic throw away cartoon. Don't like the main character, very few good side characters, very weak waifu power, and overall just terrible character design. I'd compare it more to Mucha Lucha or My Gym Partner is a Monkey in likability.

Honestly cartoons are getting to the point where they're looking like the fake cartoons that shows and movies used to put on tv in the background or in gags. Don't expect anything super memorable with this, it will be remembered more for the fact that Teen Titans buried it rather than what the show's content actually is.

I like most, surprisingly my tastes are pretty free flowing if the show manages to keep itself from getting too involved in references. I believe that the further a cartoon gets away from just trying to be cool for the sake of cool often makes it better in the long run.
My favorite cartoon still is Chowder, mainly for the fact that its fun is entirely careless and it'll remain entirely timeless no matter what age you watch it as. The addition of many experimental jokes just adds to the unique humor of the whole show and makes watching more of an experience rather than just a story.

KO in itself feels like it's trying to be a show that lives in the 90's era while at the same time making an endless amount of references in an overly cartoon-like fashion. The issue is that this isn't like Regular Show where the time period matches its false-seriousness that it tries to portray. This happens a lot honestly. There are many shows that come to pass and their staying power simply isn't great enough to hold on for too long. They flash for a short while, people may enjoy them, then they fizzle out as viewership drops and they return to the realm of forget just like many before it have. I suspect that this will be another victim of CN's habit of dropping things that aren't popular on delivery, but it's a real shame because KO gets really close to getting the 90's cartoon feeling right. It even has all the sounds down correct and some of its jokes feel like they could be straight from Dexter's Lab. It just needs to tone down the silliness just a bit, and start looking better. Funny faces are one thing, but these are honestly something else entirely.

It'd be good if it could be its own show too, I mean did they seriously have to make their character have the exact same voice as Kid Goku?

1. I don't think we'll see everyone's parents, and I don't think the main cast will be super big, but there will probably be parent reveals for most of the main cast and some backround characters might get more development.
2. They'll probably try and stay close to the continuity, but they might momentarily break it for a few jokes.
3. There'll be some heavy arcs and plots every once in a while (There's some stuff coming up on labor day already) but I think it'll still stay pretty comedic and light-hearted.
