Tons of references to beloved scenes and characters that seem pointless and arbitrary unless you've read the comic.
Manages to make the heroes come off as jerks.
Many added scenes of gratuitous, slow-motion violence, basically just to prove that the heroes are actually catching crooks and beating baddies in between the scenes about their emotional lives.
