The simple answer is that she finds it fun, but you can decipher a lot of the specifics of why Dominator decided to go down the road she did based on her insecurities, personality traits and the small amount of things the writers revealed about her.

Based on how she has no friends, is a complete dork about her hobby and is hyper-intelligent to the point where she built her ship, suit and robots herself and was self-taught, Dominator was probably a highly antisocial tech geek that isolated herself from society due to her (probably valid) sense of superiority over the populace, albeit a geek that still deeply craved their attention, and more so the mental stimulation derived from interaction with others.

After a while, something would have happened that would have made her realize how much she enjoyed destruction (carrying out an act of revenge on someone that bullied her, witnessing a car crash, etc), and she would have then put her warped mind to creating tools to accomplish doing this. After pulling off some moderately inhumane acts and finding each and every one to be enjoyable, she would have then ramped up her efforts from there to the point where she had designed and built (with the help of her bots) something that essentially amounts to a Super Star Destroyer, which she would have then used to annihilate her planet in an overly slow and enjoyable (to her) manner.

Dominator, now self-realized and fully happy for the first time in her life, then set out to pursue her passion, and countless galaxies would bear the consequences of this.

If you guys are gonna do shirts and cups and mousepads, don't do the "paste default art on a template" thing, make it seem unique and not the shit you'd get on the personalization shop.

Instead of posting the logo or a cropped poster on a shirt, make the entire shirt designed like Hater's cloak. Instead of the same thing on a cup, find something topical like making it a watchdog cup. Pic related-tier merch bugs me because it's so slapped together with default art you'd find on google and it doesn't fit with the rest of the shirt. Simple things like a pure black shirt with Dominator's heart logo works too (I think it's on the personalization shop, if so one of the few acceptable choices).

Now, who is gonna fork out the money to make these things? Does anyone here even have money? I don't.
