Been a while since I've written anything, I'm more of a short story/poetry writer and doubt I could script a comic well. But I want to give this origin story a properly written one.

my ideas thus far
>has to be from another kids perspective, a roommate in the cancer ward.
>Puppy was brought by parents to give their son something to come home for and to help him hope
>Kid eventually has to stay in long term bed next to our perspective kid

>perspective kid's narration starts to get jumpy, longer and longer times between conciousness and shorter and shorter awareness. Kid is slightly resentful that more people don't come see him and that the corgi doesn't come to him instead (although it does some)

>corgi comes to perspective kid for cuddle and explains how important hope is

>corgi watches funeral from afar before flying off to join the blue lanterns
