theres one episode i vividly remember of this, where Tom gets a fish bowl stuck on his ass and the fish literally swims up his ass and he freaks out, and I've never been able to find it.
Was it all a fever dream??? It's a really weird thing to include in a child's show.

Tom & Jerry was absolutely top notch comedy know how.
The sound/voice and animation harmonize perfectly.
The golden classic episodes are cartooning perfection.

You hardly see mass and motion depicted and sounding so well that it looks effortless.

These guys were absolute masters of their craft, which is why new Tom and Jerry reboots are always such milquetoast watered down pussy shit.

its an scene of neon genesis evangelion where shinji kills kaworu, kaworu pretended to be a new EVA (mech) pilot and befriended shinji but it turns out he was an angel, angels are kind of like aliens that want to destroy humanity, most of them are giant monsters, except for kaworu, in the end shinji is forced to crush him, the whole scene is also famous because it drags on for like a minute,
a minute in which both shinji and kaworu dont move an inch
