That's the no-brainer answer. I'm looking for some more "left-field" choices.
I'm going with Pic Related, honestly. Why? Well, at his core, Tony is the most normal of capes. He likes women, fancy houses and fast cars. Almost every single reader can identify with that, providing an emotional connection. Besides that, he's a GREAT engineer, but still, compared to the omni-scientists like Reed, Pym and the others, he's more "realistic". He's a specialist.
As for the "uplifting" part, it's because he always gets up. He's been down, either because of his own shortcomings or because of external threads, but he never gave up. No super-powers, no super-human grit, no super-metabolism and psychology, just a normal (albeit very smart) guy, overcoming his problems and rising up, again and again and again.
What about you /co/? Come on, let's drop the insults and have a heartfelt, feel-good thread about the main point of super-heroes: To make us feel empowered!

ironmas gay

Really, anon, really? That's your contribution? That's how you want the thread to start? Are you so miserable you cannot post one positive thing?

Is his defense, Iron Man is pretty gay.

Captain marvel
Chohulk

>fucks models on a daily basis
>Widow is dripping wet for him
>has fucked prime Asian pussy
>billionaire
>Top 5 in the Smart Scale
Come on anon, you may find him boring, but Tone's not gay...
that's a really bad pick. If you want a self made hero who continues moving forward despite failing a few times pick Hank Pym or Scott Lang
Alternatively someone who can always make you smile. Like Old Beast

my family doesn't celebrate ironmas

I always found Spider-Man to be a pretty uplifting.
At least when he isn't being jerked around by the writers.
>>94957670
Batman, honestly, because he's striving to stop what happened to him to anyone else, and inspire so many people to follow in his footsteps.

how is suicide uplifting?

Different characters. Kings run is about Scott Free, one the New Gods. That pic is from Seven Soldiers where Scott's apprentice Shilo Norman has taken the mantle.
And even then King has 11 more issues for Scott to escape the Omega Sanction/Darkseid rewriting reality/King projecting his PTSD onto him and be uplifting.
Thunderstrike, Spider-Girl, Tim Drake with Dixon writing him, Kyle Rayner under Marz
I immediatelly thought of Green Arrow. A genuine desire to help people, not being afraid to tell it how it is to the most powerful people on the planet, when they think "they're doing everything they can." Ollie's main character trait is that he can always do some more good and it's actually pretty motivating to see someone push forward all the time

Yeah, but Pym is infinitely smart, autistic about his sciences, and is plagued by constant nervous breakdowns. He never really got his life on track for a long period of time.

Ollie can be insufferable at times, but I like him as well. He really does stick up for the litte guy.
