liked the TV show as a kid, but I always wished it was more serialized.

I read the first three trades of the Wolfman run. It was pretty enjoyable, but I didn't feel the need to read more than that.

It was one of the most serialized cartoons to come out until the modern era, as every season had a major arc and many other eps clearly fit into a single timeline. Remember, there was no Adventure Time or horse show back then, so having any continuity in a cartoon was considered a huge risk for the network.

And honestly I'm not even sure it would have been better that way, many of the standalone eps were extremely enjoyable.

But the show was already serialized

Read the Judas Contract and watched like 1-2 eps of the cartoon. The former was better, but neither really made me want to consume any more

They are hard to compare due to the different size of the teams and differences in focus.

You could compare specific arcs and their adaptation in the show, I guess. On that note, the Terra arc was more interesting in the cartoon, though it gave us Terra's development at the expense of Deathstroke's.

George Perez's style is so boring it makes me want to gouge my eyes out. I've tried to run NTT and Wonder Woman multiple times in my life and I can't not get bored. It's too "perfect."
