Glasslip is the biggest waste of time I ever experienced. It's not even bad in an entertaining way, it's just offensively boring. Absolutely nothing of consequence happens, yet it doesn't allow you to relax like a comfy SoL show. It dangles all these plot threads, some vague supernatural BS and love triangles connecting all the main characters, then it just never goes anywhere and all that tensions that could have been built up completely evaporates, the show just chugs on without anything driving it except the anticipation of the audience who keep hoping in vain "okay but maybe something will finally happen this ep".

Glasslip is the biggest blue balls of my life. The threads on /a/ were magical, but the show itself is a vacuum of time, you will never get the hours you spend watching it back.

It's funny it's only this year back a few months ago that I actually watched rick and morty binging all of 1 and 2 and then first episode of 3 . It was after the whole "playing the first ep of season 3 multiple times" fiasco I decided to give the show a chance. I'm probably a minority though.

I am part of the Toonami staff. I doubt you will believe it, but I also have no intention of proving it. I'm here because Demarco and his superiors want some feedback on why people aren't tuning in to Toonami. We made some changes in July and those seemed to just accelerate the issue. Unfortunately, we cant just ignore this forever and we are being pressed for immediate solutions before the higher ups take over and handle it their way. Any input you can give it great.

You see, Anon who's probably LARPing, the catch-22 is that a show that's being requested doesn't mean that no one's seen it and they want to see it; what it means is that they've already seen it and won't bother to watch the dub when the sub is already done.

Toonami was at its absolute BEST when it first came back up to 2015 because the shows were eclectic and there were no long runners. Get that sensation back, take chances for the love of God and you can probably stave off the decline for a little longer.
