I honestly didn't even consider this being a possibility. So I guess it's reassuring that we're avoiding that kind of insane shitshow right off the bat.
Surely none of you were hoping they'd de-age a 30-40 year old actor into a 10 year old?

Of course not WB doesn't have that kind of money
Or the technology for that matter
It is concerning that they'd even think this was a possibility that should be addressed.

Does this mean they have a kid to play Billy and an actor to play Captain Marvel?
If so that's what I always assumed. Deaging isn't just a hassle it's unnecessary. Adults can't act like kids, even if kids generally can't act.

Its a bit concerning to sign a child actor for a multi picture deal like this. Its hard enough finding one that can act worth a damn, but what are they going to do when he hits puberty in between movies?

Would they pick a Billy that young? He been like 14-16 in modern comics for the last like 30 years. Just Dawson cast.

>Adults can't act like kids, even if kids generally can't act.
That's because an adult's impression of a kid is beyond infantile.
Whenever I see people my age commenting about kids around the age of 12 or whatever, they talk about them as if they're the same age group as my 4-year-old nephews. Also totally ignoring what we were like, growing up at that age. It's hard enough for people in our mid-20s to accurately gauge what children are like, never mind Hollywood execs in their 50s.

Yeah I suppose the safest thing to do would pick a half decent 14 year old actor or so. Even allowing for 2 years between appearances (Assuming trilogy later Justice league appearances) you'll get a good 4 movies out of him before he hits his mid twenties and the effect loses it's appeal.

Who the hell would want a de-aged actor for Billy, it would look atrocious

>It's a CBR clickbait thread saying someone's not going to do a thing nobody thought they were going to do anyway.
I guess it's a step up from their 15-somethings lists.
