I really hope we get to see Max's parents. Some part me thinks they might not out right do anything bad but they probably do neglect to a point Max just expects everything to be shit. Holy fuck if your son had disappeared/killed your other son while performing a magic trick, wouldn't you be traumatized and afraid of him?

I'd love to see an episode where Harrison fucks up a magic trick so bad he really hurts someone without meaning to (so not like Mind Freakers) and so after that he's so afraid to do magic he says he will never do it again and tries to find other hobbies etc but by the end of the episode he's virtually forced to use his magic to save someone or just the situation in general and at first he refuses but once he realizes there's no other option he does and everything goes well and he becomes confident in his magic skills once again. An episode like this might also serve as a way to further show us how he lives the situation with his parents and what happened with his brother, since I assume that might've fucked with him.
