Thoughts on the DC animated movies?

I liked Assault on Arkham.

I like the part in Batman vs Robin where Alfred starts blasting ninjas with a Mossberg

They've been shit the past couple of years and they need to stop making Batman movies and try different art styles

New52 and Damien wank ruined the whole line.

Although that doesn't explain why Killing Joke was so awful.

Babswank ruined it. People couldn't just have something bad happen to a female character that wasn't the focus of the story in this brave post-Simone world, so they fucked up the entire structure of the story to make it as much about Barbara as it was about Bruce and the Joker, and it ruined the whole thing.

Not that the shitty reason they had for doing it in the first place excuses the godawful cringey execution of it. Lemonade has been made from worse lemons. That was all Azzarello trying to be edgy, and Bruce Timm being a perv.

Christ, was that disappointing.

Make less Batman movies, they keep pushing Batman related movies and not enough characters get exposure and the Batman movies recently have been trash. Would like to see more GL animated movies desu or an Animal Man movie.
