I wish we got more episodes about the gems, the townspeople, Connie, or lore stuff.
Anything to get Steven off screen.
I get that he's 5 years old, I get that he's "realistic" in his constant naive and annoying behaviour, but guess what, children are a pain to be around.
He makes and breaks the show at the same time, he has to be there to make adventures happen, but I just wish he'd fuck off after he has outlived his narrative usefulness.

Honestly this show is one of the few things that makes me happy anymore. Call me a faggot, but i love the characters and think its really cute and funny, even with its problems ranging from zuke to townie episodes. Seeing it off for months only to get it back for one week and then having to wait another six months is really getting to me. Im nervous about getting into college right now and im getting even more depressed because of the current political climate and having the one show i really look forward to be effectivley cancelled because of that cuck christina miller is just another reason as to why i ask myself why i havent killed myself yet.

When all the mystery was resolved, and they had to start working on actual character development and tying up plots (the Cluster, the Diamonds, Jasper, Lapis, Peridot) they began to fall flat. Some blame Zuke, who was once unjukable, but really it comes down to Rebecca. She's just been a hack. I hear the recent space Lars stuff is fun, and thats what the show needs to be. Fun.

The thing is, Rebecca is kind of a pushover, her storyboarder are spoilt and allowed to whatever they want, hence why the shows goes off-model and the writing quality drops. Rebecca finally put her foot down and fired Zuke after she tried to self-insert herself as Peridot humping Lapis' leg.
