My guess is that this is exactly what this season will be about. Everyone blames their failures on Bojack, but now he's gone, and everyone will still be the major fuckup they've always been without his help.

The season will be redeemed if:

>Bojack unceremoniously offs himself in the first two minutes of episode 1
>Everyone experiences good things in their life
>Finally they look for Bojack
>Find him the last episode
>He's dead and they were all better off
>"Way back in the 90s"
>End of series

That's the only way I'd be able to continue self-inserting myself.
