Let's see a movie with Barbara where she she has to have Jim or Dick bail her out on character progression (making you wonder what's the point of all this and why aren't we seeing a Jim Gordon movie and why must we wait longer for a goddamn Dick movie than just see him be second banana?), or a movie focusing on Cassandra and do a superhero version of the Raid: Redemption? Where it's just her all by herself after a mission gone wrong (save an opening section of Alfred laying down the ground rules of patrolling Gotham), and she literally has to defeat a shit ton of henchmen and "bosses" to get out of a depraved section of Gotham?

Yeah, I choose the later anytime of the week and would throw money at that idea instead.

True, but I personally I think was a stronger character while in the chair. I know TKJ shot her merely for shock value, but without it we wouldnt have her as Oracle. Her time in the chair and doing the shadow broker stuff showed people that people with disabilities didnt need to put on a cape or costume to make a difference, and that to me makes Babs kick more ass than magically getting fixed and being Batgirl again.

Anyone but Whedon. He takes SJW quipfests to a whole new virtue-signaling level. I get there is goign to be a certain level feminist overtones and stronk women, and I don't mind that, but Gotham and the trials and tribulations of an unpowered and (arguably, compared to the rest of the Bat family) undertrained Batgirl dealing with its scum just isn't the place for a boringly competant heroine who undergoes no real challenges.

With Whedon she would be all the worst parts of Batwoman and all his other pet female characters over the years. She would barely resemble Babs at all.
