I think Bob Layton had the idea that Ton'y tech was so advanced that over time it should become less and less like armor.

Superman will never be surpassed as the greatest superhero ever, he is bigger than comics, bigger than movies and he gets a lot of hate from people that know their favorite heroes will never compare by any metric.

I like the Nolan Batman suit, except for the head (i.e. face). It looks like actual aramid body armor.

Superman should wear the trunks in most versions.

He also shouldn't look like a bodybuilder.

Aquaman's default costume is fucking great.
