I was just thinking about The Maxx yesterday. I really need to read the comics.

How is this cartoon? I've seen bits and the animation looks quite good.

This cartoon is the best comic adaptation I've ever seen. It matches shot-for-panel and dialog-for-line. Well animated and very well voiced.

Fucking love The Maxx. Recently got the DVD and watched through it a few times. Love the style.

The cartoon cuts the story short about halfway but otherwise is amazing. It may sound like a cliche but they really do bring the panels to life.
