Yeah I know it's essentially Iceman's schtick that he's now the Gay X-Man, but I really can't help but feel how much better this would've all been handled if he'd come out as Bi. Otherwise I'm actually really enjoying this run, I feel like the writer has a good handle on the character's voices and the art is good, it's just, whilst insecurity has always been apart of Bobby's character, as a bi guy myself, nothing bores me more than fictional characters whose one and only central dilemma is their sexuality.

The first story arc is about coming out of the closet, I doubt there will be many more arcs because of low sales. But getting his first boyfriend and getting dicked for the first time would be obvious story arcs.

I am not Puerto Rican, but I am South American and like this, while thinking America is one of the worst comics ever, which on the other side, makes it worth it in a so bad it's good way. You know what's insane?
Iceman's parents used to be supportive, accepting, and protective of their son.
But Xavier erased all memories of their kid being a mutant when Bobby enrolled at the X-school.
Them being such sneering bigots now is a direct result of that.
In fact, given that Bobby was targeted for bullying before his mutant abilities were exposed to the townsfolk in his origin story, it's even possible that it was commonly known that he was gay before Xavier did his thing.
