So I think I caught an 8 year old joke this morning as I woke up.

Remember the pizza episode where spongebob drives the boulder? He's talking about the settlers.

Y'see... I'm not 100% sure but I think the writers slipped in a subtle joke about either space bacteria hitching a ride on meteors to possibly seed the earth's primordial oceans, or it's a reference to boulders and rocks being slid along in glacial flows where ancient bacteria and algae would have caught the ride as well.


..... that or it could have just been a joke to make a sight gag that only just happens to fit a couple of scientific models...
